We have a package pending acceptance at the Palmetto Georgia post office since March 7th. Today is March 29th and when I call no one answers. Is there anyone working at this post office? We would greatly appreciate some answers please.

Today I received a book in the mail. t was in a brown wrapper clearly indicating it was a book. It happened to be softcover, measuring 8.5 " x 11". It obviously didn't fit into the mailbox., but the postal worker decided to fold it nearly in half to make it fit. It destroyed the binding and left the book permanently disfigured. There was another large piece of mail that was folded to get it into the mailbox. I have pictures of the ruined book but this form does not allow me to attach them. This practice of ruining mail is not acceptable. What can be done to correct this?

I have received other people's mail in the past but it seems to be getting worse. Today I received two pieces of mail addressed to other people (not even the same person). One on xxx ROAD. The other on xxx DRIVE) The only thing we have in common is the road/drive name and 1 out of 3 street numbers. Not sure if the person sorting or delivering the mail has poor eyesight or what. Also makes me wonder how much of my mail I am not receiving.

I have lived on the street I'm on for over 14 years and up until this year I haven't had any trouble getting my mail. Several times this year, my light bill has not been delivered to my house, it instead gets delivered to a house on a different street with the same house number, which is in the back of our neighborhood. The neighbor I guess doesn't feel like it's their responsibility to bring it to me or give e it back to the postmaster. Its inconvenient but mostly annoying to have to call city hall and ask them to tell you what your bill is so you can pay it. Today I got 2 different pieces of mail (same house # different st.) waiting on the postmaster to pick them up tomorrow and hopefully those people will get their mail. It's not my job to track down my mail and deliver mail to my neighbors, it's the postal workers.

There is a postal counter clerk at the Palmetto GA. location who treats me like a 2nd class citizen every time I visit for stamps. She acts like she does not want to serve people fully. When I ask to see stamps they have she points to a display that is 5 years old and says "that is all we have" which I have seen more selections in the book behind the desk. Today I asked for some heritage stamps, which they had only Lena Horne, and she flipped pages by groups and when I asked her to slow down and what else did she have in the book she pointed to the 5 year old sign and said "that's all we have" and just stared at me. I asked again to see what else was in the book and she did not let me see. Instead she said there are no more heritage stamps. I told her I wanted to see what else was in the book and she hurried through flipping 3 to 4 pages at a time without letting me see the options. I felt rushed and hurried. This person appears to not have customer training well enough to be at the service desk and is not a polite person also. Or she is singling me out for unfair treatment. I feel intimidated by her when I go into the post office and really regret not being able to shop where I live. She appears as if she does not like her job! On today she was at the middle counter around 3:15 pm Thursday 3-22-2018. I don't like going to this USPS store because of her attitude and treatment to me! USPS you must monitor your employee's behavior and remove those who diminish what is already a tarnish reputation.

I know exactly who you're referring to.. I feel the same way. Not sure why anyone would put her in customer service. She either dislikes people, her job, or both.
