This Post Office has carriers that deliver Certified Mail to business locations for legal matters without getting signatures. This is unacceptable for the USPS to do such a thing. Certified Mail is high priority mail and any carrier should know how important the service is to keeping the USPS alive and vibrant. I sent a certified mail piece to a business on the island and received the green card back with no date and no signature - such failures should be tracked down to the carrier and some sort of write up should be in their folder from their supervisor. I intend to make a formal complaint to the managing office regarding the lack of service from this tiny little USPS office on Jekyll Island Ga. If you want to display the USPS logo then make sure you do the job set forth in your training and handbook. Otherwise, remedial training might be a good idea for this carrier to make sure they know their job.
