I have a complaint re: three cards I have mailed to family members out of state that never received them and were very hurt feeling they were forgotten ! Two of those were at Christmas and another for my daughters B day today All had extra postage , just in case and were mailed with plenty of time to spare Christmas had gift cards enclosed( can't be recovered) and a check in today's Bday card I have only lived here for 6 months. This is frustrating!
Our carrier doesn't even come by our office. We have been in this location for 6 months. He goes to the building by the street but NEVER comes to our office to see if there is outgoing mail. We have complained and have been told he is the best carrier they have. If this is the best Tarpon has to offer, we may consider moving our offices elsewhere. We shouldn't have to call the postmaster every time we need the carrier to stop by. Filing a complaint did NOTHING. No wonder the USPS is floundering.
I'm not sure if this comment will reach the rural carrier supervisor in Tarpon Springs (deliveries to Beckett Way Townhomes) ... I hope it does!! I've called the P.O. numerous times with complaints about our letter carrier to no avail. He's a very lazy man. There are a bunch of stories, but today was the final straw!! He literally threw my package toward the door ... I heard it and wondered what had happened outside. I guess he was hoping he'd get it close? It hit the brick wall leading to our front door and landed sideways against it. Glad it wasn't something breakable! My husband is a letter carrier for Palm Harbor. He knows the service that is expected from the USPS. I sent him a picture of the package ... he couldn't believe it!! I certainly don't expect the carrier to bring packages all the way up to my front door, but is it too much to ask that he PLACE my packages on the ground near the door so they're protected from the sun, rain and/or passers by?
