I have received 4 email updates from tracking..arrived Ybor at 3:46 a.m. on May 26..ten dearted Ybor facility at 12:11 p.m., then departed Ybor facility at 5:00 p.m., then departed facility at 7:27 p.m. What a disgrace this facility and USPS is in general...totally inept..

My daughter’s Easter gift was shipped in a flat rate box on April 11th. It should have been there no later than the 15th. It went to Ybor and that is the last known location of my package. It’s now April 28 and I had to file a claim. Never using USPS to ship anything ever again.

Sent a package 2-Day from north Louisiana to South Louisiana. Some how it ended up here in Ybor City , FL and now seems to be stuck. I’ve tried calling multiple times per day with no answer. This package was very important and had to arrive to this person due to them needing it to take on a out of town trip. No after reading all the horror stories below I’m very concerned that my package is no forever gone. WHY don’t someone step in and fix this place ??? We pay for a service to be rendered but yet they loose our packages and want honor the insurance we paid to have on the package!!

Like all these others, I have been waiting on my package that has been at the USPS facility in YBOR city since November 18, 2021. It shows "in transit" but is going nowhere. Why can't something be done about all these issues? Unbelievable.

I ordered a new phone that had to be forwarded to me through USPS and on September 21st it arrived at Ybor. Was supposed to be delivered on the 24th but after it arrived at Ybor and "Departed" on the 21st the update stopped which worried me because it was priority and those are supposed to update every 24 hours at the least. After reading the stories people have mentioned here I now think I wont ever get my phone. Even worse, today another package updated its tracking and its now in Ybor.... Has anyone ever received anything that went through Ybor even if it was late?

I ordered a present for my godson around 10 days ago - 14 September - on Amazon. On the 16th, the tracking said that it was sent to the Ybor City Distribution Center. As of today, the tracking STILL shows that my package is in the Ybor City Distribution Center. More specifically, according to the USPS tracking, the tracking states: "In Transit, Arriving Late--Your package will arrive later than expected, but is still on its way. It is currently in transit to the next facility." Please note that the tracking was last updated on 20 Sept. The worst part is that both my godson and I live in the Northern Mariana Islands, a "Pacific territory in political union with the United States." I would hope this package arrives by the time his birthday comes, but judging from the numerous complaints here I won't be holding my breath...

first class mails delivers on time, priority mail they sit on, i suggest they learn what priority actually means since this seems to escape their understanding, and here we are yet again with another LATE package that there should have been no reason for. USPS has become the BIGGEST JOKE of all carriers, time to retire this company since they have no concept of how to move mail.

Just like most of these comments, I am also very irritated that the package that I have been waiting for since March 31, 2021 has STILL not arrived and shows that it is still at this facility awaiting shipment and the details NEVER update so I am really angry about it. Especially after reading all these comments of it happening to EVERYONE else. This post office hardly updates it's tracking. When you fill out a lost package report and fill out a form to get your money since the package was insured. Your package shows up from this location. Close this location down. Bad employees who can't update a tracking number because they want to open the package to see if the items are worth stealing. That is 50 percent of the reason the packages are late.

Man been waiting on a small package since 1st of January and still shows its at this facility in ybor city. I'm starting to think maybe the package got stolen there as all the rumors seems to lead that way

I am at my end with this office. I posted a document "Priority Mail 2 day" on January 29, 2021; it still has not arrived as of February 7th. The tracking information hasn't changed since February 2nd; it still says, "In Transit, Arriving Late Your package will arrive later than expected, but is still on its way. It is currently in transit to the next facility." This post office has had issues for years. I realize that Covid has caused problems, but I don't believe that Covid covers the extent of the issues which I have experienced with this particular post office. Previous to Covid I have had packages enter this Bermuda Triangle of the USPS and never arrive at their destination. The tracking information just stops after "leaving" this office. Then, when you call asking or even show up in person the USPS clerks can't find any record of the package and/or they are just flabber-gasted and can't/won't offer any help at all.

Why is the united states post office such a joke? This is supposedly the greatest country in the world yet my package that was supposed to arrive in November has been in transit for the last 3 months and now it is stuck in Ybor City. And on top of that no one bothers to answer the phone. Why even list your phone number? Such a waste of time holy shit.

My great uncle’s Christmas present, due to arrive 12/19, has been sitting still in the Ybor City distribution center since DECEMBER 20TH. No updates since Dec 25th, “in transit, running late.” It’s literally going to a final destination about an hour’s distance away from Tampa, and it’s been sitting still for TWENTY-NINE DAYS. Even if you just count business days, that’s still 18 days. This is honestly heartbreaking, my uncle was alone and without family for the holidays and he couldn’t even receive his Christmas present before the year’s end. PLEASE HELP.

I am one of the latest victims of Ybor City Postal Service! You never think this will happen to you!! Never say never! Two packages mailed from same starting point. One sent to Jacksonville drop site arrived 2 days earlier than stated! Second one sent to Ybor City stopped and that's where it sits today! Original sent dated 12/28/2020. Arrival dated stated 1/4/2021. First package arrived 1/2/2021. Second package arrived 1/2/2021, still sits there today 1/10/2021!

People are acting like the number of packages this year isn't insane alongside staffing limitations due to C*vid-19. I've had several parcels delayed, but my main concern is whether intercepting one is even an option.

I spent $185 to have 4 packages mailed priority mail. Everything was supposed to be delivered on 12/14. Here it is 12/18 and still no updates on my packages. I went to my post office yesterday and the only thing they could tell me is it was sent to Ybor on 12/10. 8 days my packages have been sitting there?? All I hear is they are very backed up right now. Well I don’t care about their problems! I was told my packages would be delivered on 12/14. If they couldn’t do this, then the option shouldn’t have been offered!

PASSPORT!! We paid expedited processing and shipping to have my mom's passport Tracking says it arrived at the Tampa Distribution Center a few DAYS ago and we still haven't gotten it. 10 of us (including 5 kids!!) are leaving Sunday night for Xmas in Mexico and now we have to cancel the trip if she doesn't get it. I’ve been tracking a package since 12/8. The “scan” updates from USPS had the package arriving on 12/14 and then 12/15. Instead of arriving here I tracked the package down at the USPS facility in Bonita Springs. Since Bonita is only 25 miles north of me I figured it would be here today. I have a package that came from Slovakia but my friend did not list my house number and street address. The package is being returned from St. Pete to your facility. How can I get this package to go to me instead of all the way back to Europe? I'm trying to call you now but the phone just keeps ringing with no one answering.

I sent a box out, including needed supplements for an ill family member, on the 3rd. After multiple attempts to locate it since then I finally found out that it's still being held at the Ybor center since the 4th (I live in Clearwater, he is in Louisiana). Can I go to the Ybor center and pick up my box?????? I'd like a refund too. I'll find out today, one way or another. Next important box does not go out by usps. No trust.

I got a package sent from Waltham, Massachusetts to North Miami Beach Florida lost between the USPS network without delivery...Finally I tracked it in Ybor Tampa. and since I had in vane trying to have my package back to me or holded in a place that I can pick it up. My package was shipped from NC on 6/9, made a few stops on its way to FL, but when it arrived in Ybor USPS, it was received but the package has not been scanned again in 11 days. I opened a case, for an investigation, but did not receive a call back as promised. I contacted customer service again, the toll free number has very friendly staff, apparently, but again I'm stuck only waiting for a call back that will possibly never happen. This is a frustrating position to be in.

Worst post office in Tampa

A big thank you to Liz at Ybor City post office. She told me that she would track down my priority mail envelope and she did. Received it in mail one day after her voicemail telling me she send mailing to me. I had spoken to two others with similar promises, but never heard back. So, very pleased to have it returned and not have to worry where it went.
