The staff members at South Miami Post Office are always professional, polite and knowledgeable. It is quite sad that our government understaffs the USPS.

Someone has hammered the outside mailbox opening. I can fit my whole arm in there. It's Sunday and the mail is full, almost falling out. You need to make the opening a slit, like in coconut grove, for thieves. Thanks.

I have my mail forwarded to a place in WV for the summer. Yesterday August 6, I received mail that was sent to my Miami address (33143) on 6/8/2020. The forwarding date is 8/1/2020! This was not the only piece of mail - there were several letters - it's just that this one showed clearly both dates. Some were letters that needed a response by 7/13/2020, so I am sure they were sent sometime in June. This is very unreliable service and I am very disappointed!

I mailed 400 letters from the South Miami Post office on December 3, approximately 2:00 pm. As of today, December 12, only half have been delivered to recipients. I believe the South Miami Post office, located at 5927 SW 70 street, Miami, Florida, has LOST them. None have been returned to the return address. These were invitations to a planned event and the US Post Office at that location is responsible for them not getting to their rightful destinations. SHAME ON YOU!!!

Horrible horrible horrible is all i can say. They lost my package. 4 weeks later after filing their form online the “supervisor” contacted me and told me they lost it but had no culpability. The company resent the package after 6 wks and the incompetent mailman left the package again at an outside set of small condo boxes just on top the the tower out in the open for anyone to steal. Called to complain but no one answers the phone and transfer to an operator ends in a busy signal. The worst service ever!!!

It seems not to do any good to try to reach the South Miami post office by phone, at 305-661-0664. They do not answer. I have been calling for 2 days straight.

I am missing a check that was mailed over 7 weeks ago. As I type this I am attempting to call the post office as the issuing company has recommended I do. This is my third attempt, as the number listed on the internet (305-661-0664) rings and rings then goes to a busy signal and disconnects . I now USPS employees can do better. I have received nothing but good service from the S. Miami branch each and every time I go .
