I have had MULTIPLE certified letters mysteriously go “missing” at this post office (they were sent certified for a reason) and they have the audacity to act like I should just accept that and a refund is fine how about actually doing your job and taking care of the mysterious “missing” certified letters 🤬🤬🤬

Doesn’t anybody answer the phone? I’ve called multiple times - rings for about a minute and then disconnects.

Sent a letter from NY State the first week in Jan. to Largo, Fla. It has not arrived yet. For odd reason it went to Sarasota. Tracking it has said the same thing over and over. Don't know if it still in Sarasota! Why would it even go so far from Largo?

Please tell me in what world not allowing a package with a prepaid shipping label to be dropped off at the post office during the holiday season is a good idea. The Ashton Road post office in Sarasota has all of their drop boxes and mailboxes taped up or blocked with a sign that reads "this box is out of order". The lobby boxes are locked, and the automated weight and postage machine is "offline". The only option to drop off a package is to wait in an artificially long line to get to a postal clerk. I can't imagine patrons are thrilled when they get to the counter after trying the lobby boxes and the ones in the parking lot without being able to leave their fully postage paid packages. How is this good business?? Is the post office trying to send business to UPS and FedEx? Sarasota keeps building on every square inch and inviting more people to move and visit here yet you can't mail a package at Christmas unless you wait in line at the counter like it's 1942. RIDICULOUS!!!

I filled out a forwarding form to begin June 14 from 5043 Kestral Park Drive, Sarasota 34231 and have received no mail at 705 S Boardwalk, Rehoboth Beach De 19971. None of your phone prompts cover mail forwarding.

A government check was not delivered to me because it had a nearby address instead of mine, in error. Sender told me to contact the local post office to see if they had returned it. I called the local phone number several times over a few days, but no one ever answered after several minutes of ringing and then it disconnected. I see in prior postings that others have had this same annoying experience.

My hold mail was to be delivered on October 1. As of today October 3 I still do not have it. I have called Gulf Gate post office for two days all hours of the day and the call is never answered. Something is terribly wrong!!!!

I don't appreciate being cyberbullied by letter carrier Cory Bandy, a man I haven't seen since high school in the 1990s, who just started slandering me, and spewing hateful names at me when all I did was respectfully answer a question on someone else's Facebook post. Not only did it show your website beneath his name while he was doing it, but I find it highly disturbing that my tax dollars are paying for a psychopath like that to handle mail, and go to people's homes. He is destroying the reputation of the USPS, and perpetuating the stereotype that coined the phrase, "Going postal". Cory Bandy of 8th street Sarasota, FL 34236 needs to be let go, have the UPS name removed from his profile, and reined in by his employers!

Mail was not delivered or picked up at my 12-unit building yesterday (Feb. 5). Has anyone else had that problem? Does anyone know the reason? I tried calling to ask, but after a full minute no one had picked up the phone. After a little longer, someone closed the call without answering.

This is the absolute WORST US Post Office in the state of FL. I have been filing the same complaint about a new carrier (since last YEAR) and NOTHING GETS DONE! I don't even receive response from the MAIN US Postmaster R. Sullivan to complain about Ashton Road..but I hear he is on is way to bigger office? I would like to find out where to warn them. It could be his assistant Tracy, whom I have left 3 messages - maybe she needs to go? But one thing for sure...the Ashton Rd post office number has changed 3 times..but they don;t answer it anyway...not even for 1 800 ASK USPS. They take 2 days to respond to their own "help line" via email! Revamp employees or just close it!

Today few minutes ago while I was working in the front garden and my husband was inside I saw the mailman put some mail in our box, together with the mail was a "sorry we missed you" note that a certified letter needed signature, really? we were here and he/she did not get to the front door and ring the bell like others mailman always done. No service period, just lazy.

The USPS is in the service business, First, in order to render service you need to answer your phone to help the public...I waited on hold over 45minutes with NO RESPONSE!!!!! I respectfully remind you that it is the public who pays your salary. Carrier service to my address is poor. Your employees have a responsibility. If you don't do your job properly or fix your problems; it could affect the public adversely

This is the worst service I have received. We used to have a designated post officer, now we get all kinds. Lost 3 packages so far. I am to the point of making sure that when I order online I do not want this service to be used! Get your act together. Formal complaint made, nothing happened. I am so tired of losing crap!

Being leaving in the same address for 4 years and until today's date and still having problems on receiving my and my family mail,.. we get phone calls trying to verify our address from insurance, and others company's letting us know the Tamil has being return because "We don't leave here", he said, but he never comes and knocks on our door to see is true,.. even worse he goes talks to the apartment office to verify if we still leave here, office says yes they are, they are still paying their rent and the mail men still sends backs our mail back to senders saying the we don't leave here, this is so frustrating going to the post office every other month to proof the we are in the same address for the past 4 years,.... maybe they should change the delivery driver for a younger one, who can remember how to do his job.

I wish I could give a good report because I love the Post Office but sadly I can't. I tried to find a zip code on line couldn't get an answer so I called Gulf Gate, Fl P.O. phone rang and rang and finally just cut off. I want you to stay in business but you really need to give better service.
