Wow… I live in a 55 + community in Largo. The young mail carrier will not get out of his truck to have me sign for my letter.. instead just stuffs a pick up at post office note in the mailbox. So young, disrespectful and lazy.

Been trying to contact a human to talk to for 3 days. I need to update my mail hold date. No luck with the automated system. Called them directly, won't connect me with an agent. WTH- don't throw my mail away.

Since November 2022 I did not receive 3 credit card bills in the mail which I had to pay late fees for. Now I did not receive a package that was tracked as "delivered". Luckily the company will replace the merchandise.

Worst service in Florida. You double the rates and your service went down. 5 days for a regular letter from Indian Rocks Beach to Largo. 6 miles and still no letter. Mail is delivered at 530 pm. 8 days for a card from winter haven to largo. Horrible mail service

I changed my address from my daughter’s address 500 Belcher Rd. South #88 Largo, Fl 33771 to my sister in law in Columbia, SC My name is Eric C Dahl. My daughter’s name is Erica C Dahl. Her mail is also being forwarded to SC. I’m overseas and am unable to correct this error via phone or internet. Can you please double check the names before forwarding the mail. Thanks for all you do, Eric C Dahl

Just Amazing support and immediate action and diligence by Staff members Matt and Diane in finding my shipped Priority Mail package shipped to customer on Largo Florida. 1st thing this morning I contacted the office on behalf of my customer letting me know that she hadn't received her item, but it was showing delivered into the complex parcel 📦 box. They jumped into action and the regular delivery carrier seems to have had a new replacement carrier person fill the route yesterday, not as attentive as they should have been! The parcel key 🗝️ was located in the outgoing mailbox! So it most likely was put into the wrong mailbox, and that individual was honest enough to not collect and keep my customer's package. The regular carrier is a seasoned member of the Largo Team, and he found found the key in the outgoing mailbox! Great Customer Service! You rock USPS Largo!

6/26/2020 I went to the post office yesterday to address an issue with mail forwarding. I was unfortunate to have a conversation with manager Beverly. Although she admitted that the mail was being misrouted and it was their fault, she proceeded to attack me by saying I need to just let everyone know of my new address. So I say what's the purpose of forwarding? USPS states forwarding can be in place for up to 12 months. I don't currently have a permanent address to provide. Beverly insisted it doesn't matter, and that I shouldn't be using the forwarding service. In addition, if you call the post office no one answers....it just rings then disconnects. Such a rough business they're in, or maybe just underworked and overpaid? this is a yelp site.

Largo Post Office 33770 Time period - 12:47 to 1:50 PM Telephone numbers dialed: 727-584-1496 the number I've called for many years - and - 727-584-0301 the number listed on the USPS web site for this location Complaint - Phone ring, and ring, and ring, and ring, and ring until after some 25 or so rings the phone switches to a fax noise. Wanted to rent two post office boxes but will now take my business to the UPS store which is equal distance from my office in the other direction and rent boxes from them and use their mailing services. This action is due to this not being the first time this has happened.

Hmmmm “After weeks of railing against online shopping giant Amazon, President Donald Trump signed an executive order Thursday creating a task force to study the United States Postal Service. In the surprise move, Trump said that USPS is on "an unsustainable financial path" and "must be restructured to prevent a taxpayer-funded bailout." Interesting! Yesterday I went the Seminole Post Office and one of my goals was to get a check cashed…a check sent to by the USPS. For some reason the check did not include my name—just “NA”…but it had my address. Since the “NA” raised a red flag I asked to see the Supervisor. She was GREAT---explained to me how even tho this was a USPS check and that this was a USPS office and she was a USPS Supervisor…this was MY problem to solve. Did she offer to call her supervisor? NOPE. Did she say “Let me make a phone call. We’ll figure this out.” NOPE. I was going to have be an upaid volunteer for the USPS and resolve their error myself. Since that didn’t sit well I asked to speak with her Supervisor [since she chose NOT to ask for another opinion]. Well…once again I was going to have solve the USPS problem---this supervisor also couldn’t find a way to call anyone---maybe HIS supervisor? Both supervisors seemed to want to nothing to do with this and showed ZERO INITIATIVE [presumably that’s why the supervise instead of working for a living!]. So I asked for the name and location of HIS supervisor. She’s up in Largo--- that will be Thursdays job. I presume she will be more capable at conflict resolution and will find a way to get this check cashed. And while Im there Im getting names of the Supervisors from this [Seminole] office--- this needs to go on the USPS Facebook page. Presumably the supervisor in Largo will ensure a satisfactory solution----and spare everyone being mentioned by name in my recounting of this ridiculous and unnecessary incident! I wish I could have gotten away with this kind of behavior when I worked at two County governments in Florida. But we were taught to SOLVE problems—not exacerbate them!! and to think...my business ships ~$7000 per year worth of stuff thru THIS OFFICE ALONE...and has for 4 years; throw in the amount of stuff that comes to me via this office.....hmmm....doesnt the United Parcel Service deliver packages? This office would NEVER miss my paltry $7k.....and i could ask my shippers to use UPS....

Well today I went to THIS branch to try and cash a USPS check that neither of two supervisors at the Seminole branch would touch---as noted below, USPS mistake wasnt the USPS's problem to resolve it was mine. Fortunately, the Largo Branch has Ms Beverly Yates as the Supervisor--and she was right up front---working for a living! Ms Yates gave "fast food" a bad name---after confirming my address was identical to that on check she personally approved payment. Ms Yates EXEMPLIFIED what Customer Service issupposed to be. Perhaps she should offer a training course for the "pass the buck" individuals pretending to be supervisors at seminole!! Thank you so very much Ms Yates!!!

I have not received circulars in several weeks at my retirement community. Since these advertisers are paying for the delivery of their ads, they are not getting what they have contracted the post office for. Many of us haven't been getting our circulars on AD DAY as the postal worker refers to it. 7100 Ulmerton Road, Largo, FL 33771.

I have complained in the past about the mail handler leaving my mailbox open and today broke the straw. I came home and there laying in the street were 4 envelopes soaked because it had been raining for hours and my mailbox door was all the way open.. When I picked them up they all tore, all 4 envelopes and their contents. Please let the handlers know to close the mailboxes, next time I make a complaint to the BBB. Thank you.

We have had all kinds of problems with our mail being delivered to other addresses. I complained to a supervisor last year, who basically called me a liar and stated that she had a tracking device that showed my package HAD been delivered to my trailer and perhaps it had been stolen. I live in a 55 Plus park.....thank God! Turns out the supervisors tracking device was wrong and my package had been delivered next door. This problem is still happening! Over a year later and my mail is still being delivered to me by NEIGHBORS! We have had our medication, bank statements, packages, etc. delivered elsewhere. In this day and age where identity theft and drug abuse are on the rise, it is very important for mail delivery to take their time and make sure they have the correct address.

The mailman is the worst I’ve ever experienced in my lifetime. I never get my supermarket circulars or red plum coupons. The mail delivery is never consistent. We need this material to provide my family for substenance. Come up to the standards we had at our last address. 820 Rosery Rd.. Largo.

What a waste of government funds!!! I sent a certified letter from the Largo Post Office on 12-29-17 @ 3:30 p.m.. It was sent to Tampa, arriving there at 8:22 p.m. (same day), then departed Tampa @9:27 p.m.. On 12-30-17, it arrived at Sarasota Distribution Center @ 7:50 a.m. and departed Sarasota @ 11:55 (same day). 12-31-17, on it's way to Largo, Fl 33770 @ 12:55 p.m. On 1-1-18, On its way to Largo, Fl - in transit to destination @ 12:55. On 1-2-18 - (12:55)....this item is currently in transit to it's destination as of Jan 2, 2018 at 12:55. It's on it's way to Largo, Fl 33770. There was a notation that it would be delivered by 8:00 p.m. on Jan 2, 2018 but that notation has been removed from the tracking record There are many departments within the government that are inefficient but this goes far beyond inefficient and ineffective! I still do not know where my item is or when it will be delivered.

I run a business in Largo that relies on getting daily mail. This Post Office is so bad that I used to have a P.O. Box in Clearwater so I could get my mail. Yesterday, Monday, May 15, 2017 we did not even get mail in spite of the fact I was in the office until 8:30 p.m. I have tried to call this morning to find out why we did not get service but the phone only rings and rings with no answer. Then it hangs up. This is completely unacceptable.

I,m concerned with my mail delivery. We recently had a hold on our mail (March 9, 2017) . When we picked it up (March 16, 2017) , we had several pieces of mail that were over a month old, in some cases almost 2 months. A Birthday card that was mailed a week before Feb. 3 was in the group, along with some tax papers that were postmarked Jan. 24 . Several others in our community have voiced similar complaints. My main concern is receiving my bills in a timely matter.Thank You, Robert Newport

A package was left on my mailbox at the street. 11356 122nd Terrace, Largo. I find that very unacceptable by the post office. I have never had that type of service in over 40 years at this address. To leave a package sitting tottering on a mailbox is wrong.
