Since theyve failed to fix the building in Old Homosassa, its almost impossible to get a package delivered. Couldnt be that there are now duplicate numbers in two offices. This office is helpless. They run you through the ringer to get them to look for something. Most unprofessional office Ive ever encountered. I wonder who is stealing our packages

Why did a package that was picked up in Floral City (18.6 miles from my home) get picked up on April 29th, then go to Brandon, then Tampa, then back to Brandon, they Ybor City, then go to Jacksonville and be in Jacksonville FIVE DAYS after it left Floral City? And it is STILL not out for delivery????? Why should it take seven days to come from Floral City which is so close? THIS is why people say the things they say about our acting postmaster, who doesn't give a flip about the service they provide to our community. THIS is why people say the things about federal employees, because it is quite apparent that they don't care a thing about serving their customers, because they KNOW THEY CAN'T BE FIRED!

I just moved here. My mailbox is pretty decent size. For Christmas I received a gift. It came from Amazon because it was in a yellow envelope. It was a picture of a giraffe made out of metal and my mailman decided to shove it in my mailbox bending it and ruining it. I am then turn and bought another one to replace the one that he had bent and yet again this one was shoved into my mailbox and bent once again. This mailman needs to take special care of our packages and not shove them in my mailbox where it is hard for them to come out. This is my third package that I've received in my mailbox that was damaged by my mailman. I will be calling up there in the morning and I will be calling other people as well.

The carriers have gotten lazy we had to RIP the mail out of our cluster box because they shoved packages AND envelopes into it, instead of using package locker. Not they are squeezing multiple boxes into Package Locker, and we can't get the boxes out! I am today writing Letter of Complaint to Postmaster at this Station, and urge everyone with a bad experience to do the same. If service does not change, complain to a higher authority until this BS stops!

I am so disappointed with the local Post Office. In past years I have always been pleased with the services of the USPS and defensive when hearing the criticism by others. This has now had a complete reversal. A package was out for delivery to me on 1-16-2021. It was NOT delivered. The tracking number showed "delivered to my address "@ 18:50 (6:50 PM). This was apparently the time the delivery person returned to the post office and noticed the package had not been recorded as delivered, as this entry was made at the geographic location of the post office. The package left the P.O. that morning and went somewhere else than my address. In speaking with 2 (names redacted) people at the local Post Office in the following days I was given several excuses and suggestions of future delivery. It is now confirmed the package has been lost, and am firmly assured the local Post Office can do nothing about this or make any compensation for this loss. I was told to pursue this matter on the Federal PO web site, and that proved to be a complete drill in futility. Since the local PO declared the package "delivered" that suffices as a dead end.

I have Jessica as a mail lady and this is by far the worst service ever! She doesn’t get here until 5-6 pm almost every day the latest she has ever gotten to our house was 6:45 pm!! Some of us wait on very important mail! My husband has a business and some companies send him checks through the mail and we can’t even get them at a decent time! It’s not just because of the holiday season this happens every day no matter the season! They need to find a new mail lady!

Postal Carrier Dawn Bass is the best carrier ever. She delivered our mail at 11667 W Riverhaven Drive in Homosassa. We moved last week and felt we had to let the Posmaster know what an exemplary employee she is. Friendly, efficient, always ready to go the extra mile...we will miss her! The Colvins

On Saturday, August 1st, there was a key in our mail box (9344 S. Deer Park Drive) indicating we had a package in Box 3. I placed the key in the lock, turned it to the right, where it froze. Numerous attempts to move it to unlock the box failed. Monday morning, I began calling 638-3240 at 9 AM and continued to Noon,an estimated 50 calls. The line was busy each time. I wrote a note explaining the problem and placed it in our box. Tuesday morning, our mail was delivered, but, to my knowledge, there was no response to the note - at least to us. I called 628-3240 an actual 50 times (plus about a half doze more for good measure), and got a busy signal every time. It is important to me because I believe (hope) the contents of the package is a prescription of medications I ordered in June. Please help and advise me. Norman Wagy- (352) 382-4462

I received a letter from Tina Suttle saying that because of my dog the letter carrier will not deliver packages to my door. 2 weeks ago the post lady came to my door with something for me to sign, my dog ran right past her to the end of the driveway where someone was walking his dog, she wanted to play. The postlady hid behind one of my pillars and acted as if she was in danger. It was ridiculous. I have never complained when my mail ends up in someone elses box and I have to retrieve it or bring other peoples mail back to them. The postlady was never in any danger from my dog who by the way is my sons dog of whom Im caring for while hes in the service. I get a lot of packages, some quite heavy, and I believe she found a way she could stop having to deliver them. I would like for you to reinstate my package delivery to my front door. My son will be home in a month and I wont even have his dog anymore. Thank you Mary Ann Quinn

I had a two page document that needed to be delivered - I went online on 10/15/18 and made a priority mail ticket. I dropped it off at the front desk at the 4610 S Suncoast Blvd Homosassa address. It said expected delivery date to be 10/17/2018 on my receipt and there was no other mention on my printed page from the post office stating it was going to or could take longer. I tried tracking it that day and for the next 5 days and it didn't move from anywhere but Homosassa to Jacksonville where it sat for 4 days. My possible expected delivery date is now Saturday (6 days) to a business that wont even get it until Monday. I asked advise as the post office and double checked everything online and this was to arrive on Wednesday. Now my Power of Attorney is somewhere floating around in limbo that needed to be at my insurance office to release a check. I am now incurring late fees for several medical bills, mortgage payments, and bank fees because my check for $7,000.00 is not going to get cut until they have my power of attorney in hand. I called the local post office and there "is nothing they can do for me it is not a guarantee" why didn't anyone explain this? They wont even refund the $6.70 fee - never mind all the expenses I am getting charged for trusting in the postal service and their word. I am absolutely appalled at the lack of motivation or even concern with my dilemma. They told me to speak to the post master Steve Moody but he won't reverse the fee. He only ever has for overnight guaranteed mail. Why would you even have a product that is "2-3 business days" that is clealy not - this took 6 and that is actually 8 because it will fall on a Saturday. Is there anyone in the Post Office that believes you should stand behind the product that you are selling and have an human decency with the error that was made on their part. I am hoping that someone responds to me with a solution and a refund but I would never suggest priority mail - it is completely false advertisement and misleading. I could have dropped it in the mail with a 50 cent stamp and it would have already been there - how is that right I ask. It only had to go from Homosassa to Orlando. One hour away. REALLY!
