Hockessin post office, Employee 04 Horrible, unfriendly and unwilling to help a customer lift a box as high as my shoulders that weighed over 30 pounds on the counter, he wanted me to lift it shoulder height on there counter and proceeded to tell me he not helping me lift it, and that he wont come around front to assist me either!! Plus he stood in the back when I came in and he looked up and saw me for 5 minutes till I advise was out-front. Your a post office there has to be a means to get large heavy package in the back that you cannot throw up on the counter...........REALLY REALLY SAD,,,,EMPLOYEE NEEDS TO BE WRITTEN UP FOR THIS ONE! No Customer Service Skills, Not Willing To Help, Gee why is it that the post office is going out of business and everyone seems to be going elsewhere, I was able to shove it on the lower counter, but barely got it there. Thanks Post Office for your great employee's Customer Service Skills.

Yesterday I went to the Hockessin Post Office for my passport appointment. It could not have been easier! Jack was the administrator, he was friendly, professional, and such a pleasure to deal with. He explained everything step by step, from the identification to getting my picture taken. Thanks, Jack!!!

The Post Office wants me to pay to have them answer a question on line. What ever happened to service? This is not good. BTW, this post office won’t answer its telephone line either

A month ago I threw a envelope into the outside box as soon as I let go of it I realized I did not put postage It was a card with a gift card inside. I stressed for the rest of the day...next pick up was Mon. am I went to the PO first thing and explained to the young man what I had done. He had not yet emptied the boxes He found 2 envelopes with no stamp one was mine and I put stamps on both. Thank you for your help..

This morning I purchased a roll of stamps at the Hockessin Post Office, put them in my coat pocket, and when I got home they were missing. I called the P. O. to see if anyone had turned it in and A.J. went above and beyond trying to find them, even checked the parking lot. No luck. Thank you, A.J., and I'll be more careful next time. The Hockessin Post Office has super employees.

I recently ordered some photos online and needed them for a sudden funeral. I tracked the package and it was going to be delivered a day after I left town. I called the Hockessin Post office and spoke with Coach and he located the package that had just arrived in Hockessin and allowed me to pick it up that day so I could have it before leaving town. Thanks to him we were able to share the photos with others at the funeral. Thank you for going above and beyond!

I was waiting for a package. The tracking information said the package was delivered this afternoon. IT WASN'T!! I spent too much time with the robot trying to speak with a human this evening. Finally I hung up in discust. I am furious. At this point my wife went to check the mail box again. The package was there, but it was delivered to the wrong address! This happens far too often that we get mail for someone else. This time the carrier actually had to record that they delivered the package. What is the problem? I'm angry beyond the pale because of slip shod delivery practices. The package could have been kept by persons unknown and the sender and I would both be in a bureaucratic tissy fighting with the uncaring USPS. I want my mail delivered to me, not someone convenient to the letter carrier. I don't want other people's mail that I have to deliver to the right address.

My mail carrier continues to deliver all of our neighborhood mail to the wrong addresses. He walks up to my home smoking a cigarette. My mail and packages smell like smoke. Carrier opened my amazon grocery order and put a 12 pack of soda onto my eggs making a huge mess. I filed a complaint and now I get daily retaliation from the carrier. The carrier cites my address for violations such as a car too close to the mail box. I live on a public road and cannot control who parks near my mailbox (no one has ever blocked the mailbox). It is near impossible to file a complaint with USPS. I cannot get through on the local number to the post office directly. Pretty piss poor customer service and a sorry excuse for a mail carrier. I hear from other carriers that this individual is a problem employee. Seem impossible to get any action taken to correct this individual.

I received a package from an Ebay purchase today. The package was clearly opened by someone and the contents removed... leaving only an empty box. USPS in Hockessin has a VERY sketchy track record with my packages. i cant believe that the USPS allows this to happen!

Very surprised by package delivery at 8:30 Sunday morning. I don't think it was necessary to ring the doorbell when they were just leaving the package. Most of my family was still asleep as Sunday is the only day they can sleep in a little.
Please dont ring the bell if you have no intention of waiting for me to answer (10 seconds) EARLY SUNDAY MORNING.
IF You want to compete with ups and other package services, you should know this. I have owned a business for 30 years and wouldn't call a customer on any day before 9:00 am and would never disturb on Sunday unless there is an emergency.
