Mail lady ALWAYS fills out a “sorry we missed you” slip even when I’m standing outside in my yard. Ongoing issue for years, try calling to post office in town to complain, phone rings continuous and either cancels the call or gives me a Verizon wireless caller not available. Absolute dog crap for work ethic. Do your job, lazy.

Horrible, say they deliver things, They don't. Throw packages on the ground. Sit boxes out on the road at the mailbox instead of brining up to the house. I wish we could get Amazon to stop using them.

The staff in the Post Office located at 103 S Main St Ste 3, Colchester, CT 06415 is excellent. Very attentive & courteous staff. Very helpful staff over the phone. Excellent customer service. Mail comes early & we have never lost any. There are no long lines which is great! When I go there, they are always willing to help. Weekday post office lady is very thoughtful. Always leaves packages under the porch near front door. We do not have to worry about rain or snow on packages. The Saturday young man is very courteous too. Thank you to ALL of you!

Call 06415 office to get a PO box early as we are moving to Colchester and need to have my mail forwarded. Nice lady told me to go on line and get one ahead of time. I was not able to do that. How do I forward my mail from 33981 to 06415. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Got sick and tired of numerous issues with our mail delivery. Third package already got lost, others been delivered to my neighbors and same things with other mail - we already got everything we could paperless statements because there is no guarantee they deliver a paper ones! Post master general is no help at all. She ll promise to call you back with info and never does, nor they would pick up the phone if you trying to reach them all day long - nothing. And many more negative stories about Colchester Post Office to tell! Filing the complaint to the US Postal Consumer Advocate office, because got enough.

I changed my address with the Colchester Post Office online on Tuesday September 5, 2017. I paid a dollar to do so. A package I was expecting to be forwarded to my new home in Ledyard was sent back to the merchant on September 12, 2017. I wasted a dollar on this useless change of address. Just plain incompetence. The question I have yet to be answered is will I have to pay for shipping again?

My postmaster woman is ridiculous. I have been charged by every single company I mail payments too because she refuses to check the outgoing mailbox even though I have specifically reminded her at least ten times in the short 8 months I have lived here. She is loud and belligerent and has no problem disrespecting any tenants that have a dog outside, on a leash, playing or even waking on the other side of the road. She doesn't deliver mail on time and every single day has had to return back to the condo mailboxes to fix something she did wrong. I have had two packages that I have paid for twice because once it says delivered on the USPS site, the seller no longer takes responsibility for it, therefore, when she delivers it to the wrong address or steals it I then have to repay for the item in order to receive it. I have had to send certain items to other addresses to ensure delivery and that's ridiculous. I have asked her several times to pay more attention to her responsibilities and to ensure delivery to the correct address but with no success. I decided to complain this time because I forgot to change my address on my order form, a step I should not have to do because my mailwoman refuses to do HER job, and a package was "delivered" that cost me $230, a package that was a medical emergency that I receive the item for my client and now not only do I have to repurchase the product for another $230 but now theres a good chance I am going to lose my job for my, "lack of responsibility", because YOUR postwoman cannot do her job. In 8 months she has costed me $230 for the recent order, as well as the $75 late fee for my rent check she never picked up, $35 late fee for my electirity, $50 late fee for my credit card bill, as well as the time and energy I have spent talking to the people that didn't receive their pay and driving all over the state trying to find out what happened, when the whole time it was her fault. If this recent disregard for her job causes me my job I will be forced to file a lawsuit against her and your company. This is the final time I will try to talk to anyone about this.
