Tried to get a package tracked. Automated system took the tracking number & gave no results. Tried to call my post office & after several rings, it sounds like a busy signal. Tried both at least twice! NO RESULTS!!!

I am a little bit miffed! Usually they can not even get my mail pushed into the mailbox, but simply leave in half in and out of the drop box. One gust of wind in this windless town would take it away down the street. So, today when I found my mail inside of the drop box, I was very happy. Until I found it all (8 pieces of it) was my neighbors. So, mine has to be at the other neighbors. I have been awaiting several checks, that unsuitably could be cashed already. Would you guys READ the numbers? It could be OUR MONEY you are delivering to fraudulent people! NOT ACCEPTABLE!

USED CLIC AND SHIP. ORDERED A PACKAGE PICK-UP PRIORITY MAIL. RECEIVED EMAIL CONFIRMATION FROM USPS, PICK-UP WAS SUCCESSFUL. 12 DAYS LATER RECIPIENT DID NOT RECEIVE PKJ. TRACKED PKJ AND WAS LISTED AS PRE- SHIPMENT, WHICH MEANS USPS WAS AWAITING ITEM. 12 DAYS LATER, TRIED CALLING NUMBER FROM WEBSITE 6 TIMES AND WAS DISCONNECTED SO I WENT TO THE POST OFFICE PERSONALLY AND SPOKE TO A SUPERVISOR. HE SAID IT WAS NOT THERE AND THAT I SHOULD WAIT FOR FURTHER INFO. I ASKED IF HE COULD TALK TO PERSON WHO PICKED UP PACKAGES THAT DAY. HE SAID IT'S POSSIBLE BUT GAVE NO DETAILS AND SAID I HAVE 60 DAYS TO FILE A CLAIM. HE SAID THERE WAS NOTHING ELSE HE COULD DO AND WALKED AWAY. THIS INCIDENT IS PRECEEDED BY 2 OTHER ITEMS I SENT PRIORITY MAIL LAST MONTH THAT ARRIVED TO RECIPIENTS 2 WEEKS LATE AFTER TRACKING THEM. IN THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS THERE HAVE BEEN MULTIPLE ISSUES WITH SENDING AND RECEIVING ITEMS BEING OPENED, STOLEN, MISSING, AND DAMAGED. I AM THROUGH WITH USPS AND WILL NOT TRUST THEM WITH ANY MORE MAILINGS IN THE FUTURE.

I mailed my rent check off at the local Post Office on the 23rd of last month. Still hasn't arrived at it's destination and it's destination is in the same state it was mailed from. Sent another one certified mail and the lady at the Post Office told me mail can take up to 2 weeks to arrive. In the same state? This seems ridiculous and I've never had this problem before in the last 3 years I've been mailing my rent. What's up with this?

I just happened across this site while learning the Post Office hours in Pueblo West, CO. Although my family has also had incorrect mail drops that belong to our neighbors or vise-versa from time to time, all in all, I love our postal carrier. When I think about the fact that our carrier is NOT an employee of the US Postal Service, so therefore is NOT a recipient of US Postal wages, and/or benefits, such as hourly pay plus overtime, insurance, retirement, sick leave benefits, etc., I am thankful for their service. Our carrier is a sub-contracted individual who is paid a set fee to deliver a certain area of mail to Pueblo West. If they work longer hours around the holidays, same pay. If their vehicle breaks down, they are responsible to pay to have it fixed. When they need oil, gas, tires, maintenance, a different vehicle, etc, that comes out of their pocket, same pay.. If they take a day off because the are sick, they lose money for that day because they did not fulfill their contract. If they want a retirement at the end of their career, they are responsible to set up their own retirement account and pay into it as they can with whatever extra money they find in their account at the end of the month, with their same pay. When we moved to Pueblo West twenty-four years ago we were told by the U S P:ost Office that we would have a contracted employee deliver our mail, but only deliver. The contracted employee does not have to pick up mail. Therefore it is our responsibility to take any mail we want delivered to the U S Post Office and drop it into the government owned mailbox. I hope customers in Pueblo West can find it in their hearts to cut a little bit of slack on the contracted employees who deliver our mail. And remember, if you do not like the way things are going now, go down and apply to be a contracted employee yourself so you can live the life of luxury that apparently you believe our contracted employees are living.

Our mail at 1160 West Calle Antigua, Pueblo West 81007-6179 was not picked up or delivered Th.16, Fri.17, Sat 18th of this last week. In talking to neighbors, find out this is a regular event. Apparently many times our mail is delivered to #1165 cross the street, but it is NOT the 90yr olds responsibility that lives there to deliver to my box. Would it be possible for someone to come out here and evaluate the situation? Am told that our mailbox used to face opposite direction for increased ease of delivery. Would be glad to turn it around if that would correct the problem. A response would be appreciated. Thank you!

I live in Pueblo West, 751 S. Kline Dr. For the past week or so when I have happened to be outside when the mail is delivered I see the carrier driving on the wrong side of the road to deliver mail. This is either a new carrier or an old one with a different vehicle. I know it's easier to deliver to boxes from the driver's side, but at least half the time that is the wrong side.

I live in Pueblo West, off of Laramie Dr. We have gone through a series of carriers in the past 16 years and always have the same problem. Most recently a new carrier took over. Some days the mail isn't delivered at all. On other occasions it is delivered to the wrong address and luckily I have conscientious neighbors on my road that are kind enough to bring it to us.. No one at the post office seems to care much about these issues.

I used to wait, for my mail carrier, when I had something to mail, and personally hand it to her. I didn't want to leave an important piece of mail, hanging in the mailbox. One day, the mail carrier acts irritated, because she had just walked past my house, and I called her back to pick up a letter I wanted mailed. The mail carrier, stated to me, "You can just leave it hanging on the mail box, so that you don't have to run after me." Now, I've had a letter waiting to be mailed, for two days, which means she has walked past my house, for two days, ignoring the important piece of mail I need picked up. Perhaps, this mail carrier woman doesn't appreciate her pay and benefits, at the USPS. Perhaps, this mail carrier's superior should talk to her, about having a bad attitude, with the public, for no reason.
