If Erie residence are given a free postal box then why do they lock you out I get 11 different family names and mail in my postal box it's always tore up I have asked for a new lock to be put on there with a new set of keys and they want close to $50 i have asked them why if they know who lives at the box number address why put other people's mail in a box that doesn't belong to them I also get mail for a restaurant it's getting very upsetting to have to go into the post office and ask them to stop putting other people's mail into our box and all they do is get snotty they're very rude not friendly and very unprofessional and half the time you walk in there there's trash that's fills both trash cans and all over the floor and table the manager She is totally rude need new people

Recently I mailed out some bills that were due. I needed them postmarked to show they were being sent on time. Unfortunately a few were sent after the due date. I read how the USPS in Erie accommodated the Democrat Party by purposely changing the postmark date on mail in ballots to help their candidate get elected. So, back to my question, does USPS accommodate private citizens by giving their mail more favorable postmark dates? Is it okay for Republican supporters to get this advantageous service?

Sue was extremely helpful to resolve a lost package mystery. Although likely a fault of my own (two labels), she was very gracious in determining the problem and ensuring delivery as soon as it was possible. Thank you.

We have a coded gate that the post office has to go through to get to our building with mail boxes in parking lot outside this ares, they know the code, sometimes deliver to building, but some deliveries, they just leave the boxes on the ground leaning up against mail box post. didnt turn out so well when it rained all night and ruined the boxes and contents, not to mention in plain view of anyone pulling in parking lot. Worse yet, when we complain, they dont think there is anything with this. Seriously cant any more lasy!

I'm 79 and my memory doesn't work sometimes. I walked to the post office to check our mail and forgot our home address. I asked the postal lady to help me get that info so I could find my way home. She looked up my home address info and got a postal employee to drive me home. I am very grateful for their kindness.

September 13th 2017 Went to pick up our mail today at 4:45 and found out we had our neighbors mail in our box..this has happened numerous times. Please let whoever is responsible know that this is not the way a GOVERNMENT AGENCY should be run. Sincerely JPK

I have lived in Erie my entire life. This post office has never been good, but lately it is like some kind of sick joke. We have NO help and no one to turn to. We do not get our mail. My fiancé did not get his W2's this year which we are ASSURED by his employers were sent. Totally screwed us. I have been sending out EXPENSIVE save the date cards for our wedding this fall and have just found out that a HUGE number of them have never been delivered, and probably less than 25% of those have come back to us. So where are they? Wherever my fiancé's W2's are I guess! PLEASE HELP US! This post office needs a complete tear down and re-build!

The worst post office ever! I have been getting everyones mail but my OWN for years! Ive had mail dropped off on my porch by anonymous neighbors to many times to count. I am extremely thankful for kind neighbors but they shouldn't have to deliver it to me. I am beyond frustrated that this never gets fixed. I have complained over and over again and am now looking for a contact higher up to speak with. Of course getting that information from them is impossible. How is there no one higher up than our Postmaster? Beyond irritated that I cannot trust to get any mail of importance and am going to have to get a PO Box as the issues only worsen and now that Erie is growing I am sure it will NOT get any better. The last few weeks I have seen a postman delivering mail as late at 11:00 pm on several different occasions. This is why so much mail gets delivered to the wrong address. They cant see whose mail is whose? UNBELIEVABLE how horrendous this is :(

Are you kidding me? Delivering mail to the correct address has become rocket science. I'm sick of getting my Amazon boxes delivered to my door opened. This has happened 3 times since June 2016 and we are sick of the service we receive from these People??? I thought ability to read was one of the requirements to get a job. Apparently not. So far I have lost several items ordered on line as well as a $350 designer purse. I no have anything of value delivered to my work address. This is unacceptable. And you are right. They don't care -- At ALL!!!!

This post office has the worst delivery service and customer service skills EVER. Bringing your complaints/concerns to Post Master Connie Hanlon is not worth the time or effort. She just doesn't really care. FedEx or UPS are the way to go. All complaints should go to Consumer Affairs, the phone number is 303.853.6185.

I just had a very good interaction with the Erie Post office regarding a passport for my son. Bill was very knowledgeable about the paper work I needed and the process. He set an appointment for tomorrow to get it done. Hope it goes this well tomorrow!

Oh my God! We have the same issues and have called to complain and nothing gets done about it. I get a couple of cooking magazines I PAY for and keep and they bend them everytime! I am so frustrated and angry about this and the carriers and "post master" could care less. What are we supposed to do? We get our neighbors mail all the time, and then have to become unpaid postal workers to deliver it to them! Something has to be done here, the community is small but that doesn't mean our mail is not important! Plus it's growing, God help us the bigger we get!!

Why don't the postal employees read these messages? So they don't think their work is awful?? Well then anyone else reading needs to know how bad & unprofessional it is. The post master doesn't do a thing but apologize to you in a friendly (fake) voice if things aren't done right! There is no one you can call except them to complain to, WTF?! the carriers are on a national contract & apparently it's in their contract that they can fold your magazines, mail, & obvious photo enclosures with no repercussions; they can also NOT deliver your mail or packages & say you weren't home when you were indeed home & live close enough to the mailboxes to SEE That they did not try to deliver it to your house...so I guess it's also on their contract to lie as well. We have gotten other people's mail several times, when the addresses aren't even close to each other. When I have had to go to the actual PO to pick up mail the lazy/liar delivery person didn't deliver, the employees in the office are rude, slow, don't give a crap how long you have to wait while they fumble around back there. They don't wear uniforms & most of them look like they just stumbled out of bed. I want to know who else I can complain to about this. Our neighbor that has the same issues said she called & the only one you can call is consumer affairs in Denver or them! How does that solve any problems????

The worst post office ever!!!!! I live in old town and STILL have to use a P.O. Box. Their response is "it's always been that way"... I was out of town for a couple weeks, they put a notice IN my box to renew but I wasn't there to get it. When I returned two weeks later they had replaced the lock and sent ALL my mail back, then made me pay for the new keys! I've lived here for about 15 years and have always had problems with them. At least they don't take a two hour lunch anymore... The government can't do ANYTHING right. It's time to take this country back!
