I'm so impressed with the Yucca Valley P.O. No, they are not perfect, but they are professional and kind to their customers, even when they are swamped with lines nearly out the door. I was especially impressed with them during the holidays. Thank you, YV P.O. You're the best.
I was suppose to get a package today and the post office just leaves a slip in my mail box saying they attempted to deliver but they really did not attempt anything, not even a knock on the door. What the hell am I suppose to do just wait out there till the mail truck comes buy. Sorry the outside of my door does not have Covid. Knock and back away that simple. Now I won’t be able to get my package till next week because they are only open when you are at work. Not to mention shitty customer support when you call.
Was suppose to have a package delivered to my work, we are open on Sundays, and the delivery person didn't even get out and check the door to see if we are open, if they had they would have opened the door for someone walking out. They then proceeded to put that the door was locked and couldn't gain access. Which, if they had actually checked the door, that wouldn't be the case.
The delivery person, Tom, that comes to my home is wonderful. He is very courteous and really ensures that my mail is safe. There is a male that I spoke to at the post-office today (12/17/15) however that was rude. There was something that I needed to verify and I had to really push to verify what I needed. When we finished speaking, I thanked him greatly because to verify what I needed was taking a extra step out of what he typically does. After me thanking him he said nothing and hung up on me. I am in the job of customer service and sometimes to do my job you have to go that extra mile. I appreciated that I got what I needed verified because it involved the delivery of an expensive product. However his rudeness at the end was very disappointing and to me reflected his true nature. Very disappointed at his attitude.
I live one block from the post office and besides not getting mail until after 5:30pm most days on average one to two days a week no USPS worker even touches my apartment mail boxes. so now mail gets delivered four out of seven days a week?. i would like to assume that the mail route is a system and not how the post office worker decides to drive out and choose a route by mood. mail should arrive roughly on a consistent scheduled ......
is stolen mail becoming the norm? had a usps med size flat rate package insured for alot of money with adult signature, and it mysteriously disapeared somewhere between yucca valley and landers post offices. NOONE seems to know anything about it either hmmm think ill switch over to fed ex ive heard bad things about late hires at usps being ex cons, etc, now im believing it more and more...
I live near Acoma and for some reason the mail man has been delivering our mail super late at night. Last night he didn't deliver the mail until 9:30pm. Not sure what's up with that. It's really annoying. Our mail has always been delivered usually after 6:00pm for the last 3 years but it's been like 2 weeks straight of getting my mail well after sun down..
The gentleman who answered the phone this morning was extremely rude and instead if explaining the process to me he felt the need to try and make me feel like I'm an idiot. He was nothing close to being professional and if he doesn't like his job that's not my fault. Customer service was horrendous.
