The wrightwood office phone is disconnected, off the hook or just broken. Have been trying to contact someone for a couple of days. I do not know about other residents or the town but my husband is not able to use the office hours. He works, off the hill. Please fix the phone.
Wrightwood postmaster just drastically reduced the Lobby hours for all residents due to some break I s. Rather than beef up security, an impossible reduction in lobby hours was imposed. This is not okay. My work hours do not always allow me to get home in time to pick up my mail. We have not been able to pick up our mail since last Tuesday, and we have important new employment paperwork, and our laptop charger that our so. Mailed to us. But we are stuck and can’t get our mail. This is completely unacceptable. Please help and notify the post office if your need for them to extend the lobby hours to at least 9:00 pm, especially with the upcoming holidays.
I really wish the postal service would update this office and give them additional help. They are overwhelmed. Several boxes were recently broken into and still haven't been fixed. Lines most days to pick up at the counter are so long it's ridiculous. Why do they not keep the counter open on Saturday so those of us that are limited to picking up after hours can at least get our mail without having to take days off
not a review only a suggestion. Why don't you put the last time they pick up for the outgoing mail for the day, 2 or 3 pm I believe? Where, on the last
collection times, it states closed, everyday of the week. That is what I was looking up and no info avail. Most people want to know when the mail goes out, so they can pay their late utility bills so its not shut off! Lol Just thought I would share my thoughts...HAVE A NICE DAY! 🙂
As a Wrightwood resident, I receive all of my mail and packages through my personal P.O.Box at the Wrightwood Post Office. Since 1997, most weeks I have needed to go to the counter to either send or more often pick up packages/parcels several times. I have found the majority of post office personnel to be courteous, hard working and willing to make an extra effort when needed to help their never ending stream of customers. In fact one postal worker in particular, Alicia, has done a truly exemplary job at the Wrightwood Post Office for as long as I have been going there. Her friendly, "neighborly" demeanor and ability to solve just about postal issue coupled with her knowing the majority of local patrons by name makes a trip to the local post office one of the simple pleasures that make small town living the joy that it is. - Thomas Jacklin
yeah i have a box at the wrightwood post office and i order packages all the time. The carrier service always tell me they arrive, but conveniently the post office "does not have my packages" when in fact i know they are. when i pick up my packages finally about 2 weeks later they always say that they have arrived and they actually did have them the whole time. they dont care and frankly its very annoying . this happens way too much.
