5/14/22 - Just read the reviews below and I am so sorry to hear that not everyone is having a good experience with USPS. I write to say that my mail carrier, Michael, is beyond FABULOUS and that he goes out of his way to delivery bulky items to my hilltop home's front door which is located on a very narrow road. Also, I have always been treated QUICKLY, EFFICIENTLY and COURTEOUSLY by the USPS representatives whenever I come to the Tujunga USPS--which I like because they rarely have a line of people. Like all organizations, there are always challenging situations and a few people who need attitude adjustments, but, for the most part, the USPS Tujunga staff, I experience, are hard working and lovely people. I think that USPS could, like many governmental departments, use better, newer and more efficient equipment and systems. BUT, we get mail 6 days a week--rain or shine. They even delivery on Sundays and holidays!! Kudos to these many men and women who work under pretty stressful conditions.

The courier refused to leave two packages for some reason and listed “unable to get into building” yet new mail was in my box? Weird, I called to see if I could just walk down and pick up my packages cause I was waiting all day and excited for their arrival and instead got yelled at by some lady 🤷🏽‍♀️. Whatever hopefully they don’t just keep doing that.

Did you know that your postal carriers have been instructed to take shortcuts when delivering the mail. They time them on their routes, which isn't my problem. So they're told to walk on your lawn, even if there is a fence in place (which I have to keep dogs off my grass). But if there's a fence, no one should step over it. It's trespassing on private property. The postal carriers need to walk on the designated path. I told the supervisor there is a walkway that they should use. He had a bad excuse stating that it wouldn't kill my lawn. I said if I'm fertilizing my grass, they will track it to my walkway and it will take away from the area I'm trying to fix. So if anyone wonders why their grass might have a path thru it to their front door, it's created by the lazy postal carriers who can't walk the extra 20 steps. They'll have to find other ways to save time. I can't believe that the guidelines/rule book they provide to the carriers actually says to walk across people's lawns, and that it's done countrywide. If it is, it needs changed immediately. If anyone has run into similar issues, call your local post office to complain.

The problems with this post office permeate the entire staff. That's why complaints go unanswered. No one rocks the boat. You must file a complaint with the Postmaster General. uspsoig.gov

Tujunga post office posted time of PO BOX delivery is 11:30. There is a sign in the lobby that says 11:30 Not 10:30. First, I am saying so this page will be fixed. Second, I am unhappy that I can only get my Saturday mail between 11:30 and 2:00

This post office does not answer their phones and lost a very important package I shipped with Tracking and Signature Confirmation. I have filed a formal complaint with the Postal Inspection Service.
