Someone stole a check I had mailed in the drive-thru mailbox and attempted to cash it (photocopied and changed name and amount). Luckily my credit union called me, but I had to close my checking account since he still has the original check, and open a new one, along with all the auto-payment changes I will need to make.

Flag at Austin Dr. is ignored by Government employees. Half Mast was to end May 23rd and is still flying 24 hours a day in the wrong position as Saturday May 29th. This is due to a lack of supervision. Stops the pay one day and see if gets attention.

This website first claims that the Austin location post office is in La Mesa. It is in Spring Valley. I sure hope the hours of it being open, is correct.... We will see.The clerks here are a mixed bag. Some are good at what they do and others ? As for carriers, I have had some trouble with a few. And have had a few items”lost”. Of course those were with money in them. It’s like they can smell it. Wish we had more trustworthy people in the world. But , such is life.

This post office is terrible at training people! I recieved the wrong mail 3 days in a row, they did not pick up my package when I requested the online pick up. My neighbor had to give me my package yesterday! I recieved someone else's medical mail and had to give it to them. On top of that they have been delivering mail of people that no longer live at this address for 2 years now! I even wrote a note and have the names of the people who live here only on my mail box!! They are honestly the worst post office I have ever had to deal with!

You need to train your carrier's to be more careful when sorting and delivering mail. Unfortunately the street above mine has the same house numbers as my street and my home. I was apparently had a package delivered as per UPS through USPS. But did not receive it. Most likely it was delivered to 9403 Corte Gaciela and not 9403 Avenida Acero. Now I have to wait and see if the resident will bring it to me or have to call you in the morning!

I would just like to thank you Mr. Supervisor for hiring Robert our spring valley postal carrier. He is fast, efficient, and above all maintains a friendly personality, even when the weather is rough! He still smiled and said good morning when the weather was 110 degrees! He is one of a kind and the whole family loves him 🚑❤️

As a board member of Sunridge Terrace Condominiums at 4514 3rd St; La Mesa 91941 - I have received numerous complaints from our residents regarding our mail delivery since Denise Lorenz retired the end of November. Mail is not placed in the appropriate boxes, highly sensitive mail (social security info) is put in the wrong box. The past two days I have received mail in my box addressed to Units 1, 4, 9, and 15 - my box is 20! If this was a one-time mistake I could understand. Unfortunately it's ongoing. Please assure us that our mail will be handled securely and accurately, especially with end of year tax documents containing personal.information will be arriving. Thank you for your attention to this request, as I do expect accuracy and care of mail delivery from a government agency.
