This is second time recently that a package was not delivered due to "No Secure Location Available." This is an apartment so the box is small. Both occasions the item was too large for the box. What criteria is used to decide return to office or leave on a doorstep like everyone else? This has been done in the past.

I have many expensive items coming and a sign that says bring up to door because items have been stolen before. Our regular mail man does that, but another took a package back saying it had to have address checked, which was a lie. Now expense items are being left just inside the gate, easy to open and it will only be time before something else very expense will be stolen. Your post office can not be reached by phone, but the sign clearly says bring to door.

My mail doesn't get delivered sometimes when a car is parked in front of our mailbox even when its not our car. Its mostly on a Saturday when everyone is usually off. She doesn't want to take a minute to get off and drop it off. She just drives by. I even got a note regarding the parked car in front of the mailbox during the fires when we couldn't go to work since my workplace was evacuated. We are always expecting important mail but will have to wait another day and if she's lazy again we will need to wait another day.. We are mindful and try not to park a car in front of the mailbox but we fail and forget.

I am of the understanding that we do not have a permanent mail carrier at Hobbit Court, Simi Valley, CA 93065. Last Friday, my husband and I were leaving our house and noticed that the mailman was at the mail boxes He was just finishing, so we waited. He was closing the back of the mailboxes when we saw that a piece of mail had fallen out and landed on the ground. He completely ignored it and went on his merry way instead of picking it up, unlocking the boxes and putting it in the right slot. After the mailman had left, we went to retrieve our mail, the piece of mail on the ground was ours!!! It could have been something very confidential that anyone could have read. I can't understand why the mailman just left it on the ground, he saw it fall right in front of him. This is a very serious matter and hope it will be addressed immediately. Oh,how we miss our old mailman Dave. Would appreciate a reply from you?

I am extremely disappointed in the mail delivery in my new neighborhood. Good forbid if your waiting for anything important that can't wait. Your blood pressure rises, your stress and anxiety levels are high and over working. Your waiting till sometimes 6:00-8:00. Good luck getting anything done or accomplished. Everything is closed by that time. Sometimes extra fees are tacked on, etc.. Or money needed for emergencies is just not possible. You feel like your being held hostage at home waiting, and waiting. Every excuse is made as to why you don't have it at a decent time of the day. Sometimes your mail is delivered to another neighbor. Sometimes if you upset your mail person they damage your person property. Or worst of all they just decide not to deliver your mail at all. Depends on what kind of day their having. Oh BUT WAIT, as long as they deliver it by 5:00 that's all that matters. But I've gotten mail as late as 8:00pm. Always having an excuse. I just right nite had another neighbor come out angry, saying it's getting worse.
