Please, please do not shove packages into mail box, that is down the end of street from my house! I am disabled I can not get it from there. Plus, when someone one tries to bring it to me the have it crammed so. Tight in there removal is so very difficult! Please bring to front door! Thank you, Barbara Nutz

The USPS is miserably incompetent. I had a client contact me because his check was returned to him saying it was undeliverable, but the letter was correctly addressed with appropriate postage. I've spent hours trying to get a live person online, and even the forms for emailing the Post Office don't really fit my needs. The numbers listed for local post offices don't work - the recording says that you will be connected, but they ring 10 times and then go to a "beep-beep-beep." In other words, they are non-functioning. How did our postal service get so messed up?

These hacks have a long history of stating they "unsuccessfully tried" to deliver your packages at a certain time, when it's demonstrably false that they made no such effort. Too hot to deliver on a Friday afternoon? They'll just say they tried, close up the Post Office all weekend and make you come there to pick up your package the following Monday. They've also been known to leave personal handwritten mail on the ground outside the mailbox, to bleed into illegibility in the rain. "TRUST US TO DELIVER YOUR VOTE BY MAIL!" Yeah, riiiiight.

Terrible service. Package was to be delivered 8/9. Tracking said unable to deliver which was not true according to my cameras. Then it said available for pickup at Scott’s Valley. Then it said on the way running late. Then it said missing - undeliverable. Obviously all lies. Maybe postal employees should be able to read these reviews citing incompetence at all levels.

Over the past several months my mail has been delivered between 8 and 9PM. This week my Postal App indicated that I was to receive mail which I am still waiting to be delivered. Some is very important and concerns me that first class mail is being ignored over priority and Amazon shipments.

Woe be unto you if they miss you for a package delivery... You might get a delivery notice. Or not. They might try to redeliver the next day, or the day after that, or never. Did you go online and fill in the reschedule delivery form? Yeah, good luck with that. The only way I’ve been able to claim non-delivered packages has been to ultimately file a missing package notice... and miraculously, they locate it and deliver it the next day. Don’t know what is up with this branch.

I just saw an employee not wearing a mask at all helping an elderly woman get a package into her car. He didn’t seem aware of social distancing rules at all. Please try harder to educate your employees and enforce the rules. Thank you

Our neighborhood mailboxes are at the bottom of our road where it meets a busy road. Lately one of our mail carriers has been leaving packages on the ground next to our maiboxes. We've had problems with people stealing our mail but now they can also steal our packages. They should either deliver it to our house, like UPS, and like another one of our carriers does (we really appreciate that). Or have us pick them up at the post office.

This post office rarely opens their side window at 6 AM like it is posted - they ignore the bell (or disable it at times). This is an ongoing issue with this particular branch.

I live on Suburbia ave and am receiving other people's mail. Many of the people in our neighborhood are complaining, but feel they are being ignored.

I live on Suburbia Ave and found a letter on the street from the Veterans Administration addressed to my neighbor on Almena. This time I delivered the letter personally. That's three letters in a week and a half that haven't been appropriately delivered to the right address.

Our mail delivery person is excellent and we have no complaints. There is a phone app named NextDoor. About a dozen neighbors have noticed tracking and amazon show delivered a full day before it is actually delivered. The hunch from many of us is the post office is trying to maintain on-time delivery performance. This is specific to the Scotts Valley Post Office. The dozen above issues have occurred within the last 2-3weeks. The app only serves part of the neighborhood as many aren't members, so there are probably many more cases in the few weeks time.

Hi, I went to the Scotts Valley USPS office earlier to mail a package. I used the Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope which includes up to $50 insurance coverage at no extra charge. I asked the lady at the counter how much an additional $50 insurance coverage would cost. She said a few dollars. I asked what's a few dollars. She asked me what the value of my package was and I said $100. When I got home, I checked my receipt and discovered that the lady charged me for an additional insurance coverage of $100. I felt cheated. I thought this was so dishonest of her. I clearly was just asking for an additional $50 coverage because the flat rate envelope priority mail envelope already comes with $50 coverage. The amount I paid was nothing actually. But it's a matter of principle. Does she earn extra commission for every additional insurance coverage she sells? She has a right to earn extra but she has no right to cheat me. My receipt says clerk 15. Please help address this. Thank you, Maribel

If your office is delivering my Amazon Fresh in the green totes, please advise your carriers that the green totes left out at delivery time are to be picked up. It my groceries are not delivered by your office, please let me know.
