I live on Atlas View Drive in Santee. Our regular mail person is an excellent carrier. Very dependable and curtious. When she has a day off, the substitute carrier is not good. He will sometimes stuff packages into our mailbox the are to large to come out the front access door. When we open the box to get our mail it will not come out the access door opening. This has happened with medicines, boxes of checks from our bank, and other items that should never be forced into the box from the mail carrier's rear access which is considerably wider than the front door access to the mail recipient's mail box. I met the carrier to make him aware of the problem. I was very respectful, while he was rather passive aggressively disinterested. Our regular carrier always brings boxes and large packages to the front door and leaves the items on our porch. She actually takes an interest in doing the job correctly. Her sub, not so much. We either have to call for them to send the sub carrier back out or go down to the post office to get someone to come out and remove the packages from the rear access of our mail box. Very frustrated on Atlas View

I tried calling the Santee Post Office today, 7/24/2020 in regards to the panel for mailboxes numbers 41 to 51 has been left unlocked. Wanted to notify due to possible mail theft which may occur.

This is the 3rd or 4th time I have mailed something from my home and it hasn't been received by the recipient! My rent check! Which means I have a late fee, have to get a cashiers check and drive it to my landlord 25 minutes away! I also have to put a stop payment on the check and pay that fee too! What is going on here??!!

Today is the 4th!! time in 2 weeks that Ryan has not picked up my outgoing mail. Just because I don't have mail coming in doesn't mean I don't have pick up. He has been on this route long enough to know I send cards out a least 4-5 days a week.

Dear US PS representative, I am a resident in a new community in Weston. Today a neighbor brought my Kaiser mailed prescription medicine to me. I live at 9008 Trailridge Ave, and she lives at 9008 Hightail. This marks the 3rd time a neighbor has brought me mis-delivered mail. I noticed that the postman comes to our mailboxes past sundown, and was using the light of his cell-phone to check the envelope addresses. I commented to him whether the post office can provide a hat was a light. Thanks for your understanding. I wish your team well and health throughout the holidays.

Has the Santee P. O. stop delivering mail on Saturday? For the last two weeks we have gotten no Saturday mail at 10435 Ironwood Ave.

The customer service is horrible. My package was already paid and ready to go. I asked nicely if I can leave the package, but apparently it was too much effort to just take this package from me, very unpleasant woman told me to wait in a line. Thank you santee post office. I will do my business elsewhere!

The mail delivery has been awful since Patty has been out on medical. I ALWAYS get some mail. When Patty is not delivering, the delivery times are as late as 7:00pm. Today I saw the truck across the street, never saw it again. I tried calling, phone rang & rang; no answer. Called again, line was busy. Called again, no one picked up! What is going on?

Horrible experience. Ended up costing me more money to send a package regular mail with no insurance but with a flimsy envelope purchase than it would have to send it priority in the FREE BOXES they provide. I just asked to have my item back and the cashier argued with me, of course, because they are the post office and you really don't have any other options so why would they need to be courteous??? I left extremely angry.
