My mail arrives one every two or three days nowadays, even if I have the flag up for pick-up. Anybody else had this happen?

The woman who has worked there for years is always annoyed that we need her service. Perfunctory in all her responses, and just borderline rude. Not pleasant. Oh, but I am sure they can't fire her, or else!

Beware. I along with other customers using San Anselmo post office walk out frustrated from the intolerant abusive behavior of two female staff who are extremely unfriendly and curt. They act like as if they are angry, unhappy and annoyed to be of service. I now avoid going there preferring to use other postal locations where the staff are sincerely pleasant, helpful and uphold the US postal mission of providing "world class customer service".

December 15, 2021. Had red flag raised on my box for mail pick up in box. Driver never took mail, and the flag was lowered. Called Fairfax CA USPO number. It rang and rang over 20 minutes. No one answered. This is Fairfax manager responsibility to have phone calls answered. I "waited in line." No one answered. Terrible service.

Completely unreliable post office. When I had mail forwarding enacted, half of my mail was not forarded. So I cancelled my forwarding. For about a month, all my mail was delivered, until yesterday. For some unknown reason, my carrier decided to re-engage my forwarding. Now I don't know where my mail is going. These guys should be embarrassed.

The most rude people ever. In my opinion if you don’t like your USPS job go find another job but don’t mistreated people with your horrible mood and rudeness. Every time I have to go to USPS in San Anselmo there is a couple women there that treat us like trash. Really embarrassing USPS!

My new mail carrier left a note (written on a piece of my mail!) to move my mailbox down last week, and left all my mail on my doorstep. In spite of 3 complaints to the San Anselmo post office (who handles my mail delivery) nothing has been resolved, The mail, including bills and other personal mail, is being deliverd TO MY DOORSTEP, NOT IN MY MAILBOX. My doorstep is in full view, and has the potential to be stolen by any one of the many people who walk past my doorstep. If a check is stolen, it is the fault of the mail carrier. I can't believe this is allowed to happen!!

Been a customer of the post office for about 30 yrs. Yet the other day had an unpleasant experience. Found my box closed. Attempted to let the counter personnel know as well offer my feed back that perhaps there must be a misunderstanding . Yet asked if can we try to solve it while present . She said no can do as it was closed and no mail inside. Well I said there is still mail inside. I asked is someone else interested or bought that box ? She said no . Then she proceeded to tell me she had to review case on the coming Saturday, 9-12-20... Also stating that I have actually not paid since December of 2019. ( it was a Friday 9-11-20 this took place.) When arrived to Post Office had to wait in line which alright. Then the line did start to fill with a few other persons. So asked if there was a higher up like a supervisor I could call and speak to. Her response was she is that person, only supervisor. Really was just trying to understand what had just happened also that she was the only counter person there, thought I could take the pressure off her some, then she could continue helping others. She decided to walk to front floor... So we walked over to box never the less and saw that there was still mail inside. She had me try to open, not sure what to prove though as already knew it was locked. Have not been introduced nor given even a name so I call her Ms. Supervisor. She shouted at me briefly to listen to her. And I did. Also mentioned to her that just because I have an opinion or questioning the whole situation as maybe there has been an error some where, does not mean I am trying to start an argument with anyone. Perhaps a bit miffed and concerned about the predicament as spoken to poorly as well. So I left phone number with Ms. Supervisor so to be rang or to follow through at Ms. Supervisors convenience and after she made her so called review. She said she would let me know. Ms. Supervisor stated that I would have to prove that box was paid for. The following day found the proof in form of two receipts. So still have not heard back. Tried phoning via contact left on website...no one answers. Sad that a matter like this can't be handled amicably especially if dealing with as local as you can get long term customer . It has been less than a week since this experience. Was advised by some acquaintances that also worked for Post Office to file a complaint . I rather that we work it out respectfully than complain. Yet Ms. Supervisor I did not appreciate being handled roughly . I would consider filing a feed back complaint on behalf of the fact that the USPS consider that it is not nice or fair to just have one personnel working the counters. How can they do a good job with out getting stressed out . Even during a Pandemic year as 2020, I can understand letting one customer step up at a time into enclosed area...Yet there needs to be another way around this. Maybe there is another person in the back and they switch from counter take turns working the front counter so as not to over tax Postal workers. Perhaps it time for better customer service pandemic or not. Thanks for listening if this does get read by USPS, for at least offering this section on website. Hope this post office gets the re-boot needed on customer service. BTW heard that this also happened to another neighbor there with post box recently this year. They did not have a receipt so ended paying just so to get on with things. Yet they also felt that it was a mistake . Thanks for taking in feed back if it does get read...

I have a load of wood in my driveway which will need to be there for about 2 weeks. I have 2 cars and one had to be put out in the street near the mail box as there is no other place. I wrote a note to the mail carrier with my phone number as I knew it would be in his way. I asked to please call me or leave a note if I could not park in front of my house for 2 weeks. He left me xeroxed note saying my mail was suspended!!!!!!! It is 5/15 the day I write my bills and my box is empty. No mail. Thank you to my neighbors who said I could park my car in their driveway as they were going out of town. BTW I do not get my mail everyday and unfortunately am used to that now. Do you need more people to work for you? This is a good time to find people!

Horrible, horrible service at San Anselmo, Ca. post office—for 22 years now!! They DON’T listen to your issue when you call and interrupt and fight you on the phone even when I’m calm and just asking questions. They often DON’T pick up the phone. They claim they DON’T have a system where they can look up your pick up info and talk to the driver who forget to pick up your packages. What?! They are RUDE even when I’m kind and patient on the phone. I was very patient recently. I ask for a way to let the driver know that he’s forgotten twice to pick up. The employee hung up on me after not listening and yelling at me. What?! We are treated like dirt like this all the time we call. I can’t get the woman’s name who answers she won’t give it to me I can only identify her as Asian (I’m not prejudice at all) with English as a second language. It’s incredible people aren’t fired at the location and the management isn’t cleaned up. I’m guessing something illegal is going on because they’ve been like this for 22 years and on Next Door there are monthly complaints with usually hundreds of people chiming in. How are they getting away with this for so long? Is upper management is using the location for drug running? They clearly aren’t tracking the situation there or they are part of the problem. Someone from the top needs to COMPLETELY overhaul the entire San Anselmo Ca office and they’ve needed to for DECADES!! It’s actually a running joke in our area. Shameful non existent customer service at the least, illegal use of postal service as worst.

This email is for the Post Master Philip....I am really upset with this Post Office!! I went on a trip the middle part of November and returned December 8th....I had the post office to hold my mail until the return date. They are still holding part of my mail. I have been to the Post Office twice to pick up mail. Now, I have to go again, because I had a small package mailed from another State and it is being held....I tracked it and it is at the Post Office....Also, I had another package that was sent back to the company. What is going on at this post office....The clerks are rude and not helpful. I was assured that this would be taken care of...Well, guess what? ...It hasn't happen yet. I hope this problem is corrected very soon because I want to recieve my mail.

Saturday, December 7, 2019 SAN ANSELMO POST MASTER 415-453-0363 121 San Anselmo Ave San Anselmo, CA 94960 DRUGS ON PORCH NOT BOX, MISDELIVERED MAIL, MISSING MAIL Dear POSTMASTER OF SAN ANSELMO: On Thursday, December 5, 2o19, a white package of Drugs from Kaiser was put on my porch, NOT INTO MY MAILBOX. I did check, and the package would have FIT INTO THE MAILBOX. The mailperson put some mail in my mailbox on the same day, at the same time, but not the DRUGS FROM KAISER. I REALIZE YOU WILL KNOW WHICH MAIL PERSON DID THIS on this date. I WOULD LIKE THOSE WHITE PACKAGES OF DRUGS FROM KAISER PUT INTO MY MAIL BOX, NOT DROPPED ON MY PORCH WHERE THEY GET RAINED ON, AND CAN BE STOLEN. One of my friends had Kaiser drug packages stolen from his front porch: he lives in the Dominican area of San Rafael. People do STEAL DRUGS, AND KNOW WHAT THOSE PACKAGES LOOK LIKE, I’M SURE. Last summer, the San Anselmo post person ALSO put a package of Kaiser drugs on my porch, not in the MAILBOX. The package apparently blew off. I never got it. So, I called Kaiser, and they had to replace the drugs. They were not happy, tho and said I’d have to pay for the drugs if this happened again. Several months later when I trimmed the shrub near the porch, I saw something white in the bushes. It was the Kaiser drugs. I called Kaiser and told them, but they said the drugs were too old to use. So, please tell your mail carriers to put the mail in the box, the DRUGS IN THE BOX ALSO. In addition, two pieces of my mail NEVER GOT TO ME, in October-November; one was a bank statement and one was a Infinity bill. THEY HAVE NEVER SHOWN UP. I don’t know what happened, but I have been getting mail meant for my neighbors recently. Maybe my neighbors got my missing mail, MISDELIVERED TO THEM. So please instruct your mail carriers to put THE DRUGS IN THE MAILBOX, and if you can, also work on the MISSING AND MISDELIVERED MAIL. The last time I had problems with the SA Post Office, I had to RESORT to contacting my House of Representatives member, who then contacted the SA Postmaster. PLEASE SOLVE THESE PROBLEMS, SO I DON’T HAVE TO DO THAT AGAIN. Thank you, Diane C

Lately my mail is ending up in my neighbor's mailbox and theirs in ours all mixed up and some prescription drugs and packages. NOT SAFE and very sloppy. Also called to be specific about the addresses and no answer. 800 number was also a waste. So what's up with the service in San Anselmo

Twice in the last 6 months an Amazon order has been returned. A card left the first time said, "Heavy" the package was 30lbs. Yesterday several packages were returned as "Damaged." each item boxed individually. Please ensure carrier delivers.

BAD SERVICE. Just got a notification that they tried to deliver my box and left a notice = this is not true. No notice, no attempt. This seems to be their modus operandi --- too damn lazy to do their job OR even leave a notice. BOGUS BS. This also happened last week with a package they sent to San Rafael main post office and ultimately returned to sender. It should have been delivered to Fairfax. Guess its time to send a letter to the US Postmaster and the San Anselmo Postmaster. Enough already people!

Today at 6pm, I was attempting to ask this young female USPS employee not to leave potentially valuable parcels on top of my mail box in Fairfax but to leave me a note saying to pick it up at Fairfax PO instead. Wow! She could not be bothered in the conversation, turned around in the middle of it and left! So rude and unprofessional when all I'd like to do is to make sure my parcels don't stay unsupervised when I'm at work! Unbelievable!

I received an email today stating an attempt had been made bit mailbox was full. It was a stroller! No one attempted anything! My kitchen window looks out on the parking lot. My front window looks out on my porch. No one attempted to deliver.

The Mail carrier just drove past our house and did not deliver the mail because a car is parked slightly in front of the mailbox, he has to get out of his truck to put mail in the box so could just pull up right behind the car that is there - what a jerk. This seems to be his reputation in our neighborhood - shitty.

We have not received regular mail delivery for the last 3 weeks or longer. Once a week or so, we do not get mail picked up or delivered. What's up? We rely on the postal service!

He moved away from San Anselmo, and left a forwarding address. We cannot, however, give you that address because we do not like how you asked the question. Please try again.
