I have been using the Running Springs Post office for over 8 years and have nothing but high praise for it's hard working employees. The postmaster is very polite and competent, and has even gone out of his way to help me a few times. A CA DL only has ONE LINE for the street address. That said, you should simply add the PO Box line after the street address using a "/" separator. Then your license will be proof of both your physical and street address. As for the kind and hardworking "black woman" some one else made disparaging remarks about, that is Terry's Mom! Terry (aka: the hardest working man in Running Springs) has worked/does work at just about every business/store/restaurant in Running Springs. It is impossible to do business in Running Springs without running into him. Judging by how well brought up, well mannered, and hard working Terry is says all you need to know about his mother. (And shame on you for your tiny racist brain, and bad attitude. RESPECT. You have to give it to get it.

Beware of attitude and incomplete information by manager at Running Springs. He needs customer interacting training. He knows that no matter where or why you complain. His job is secure. If you complain to USPS, you may lose Mail or packages. I lost a package even though it was recieved well at 92382. After I advised Postal emp. about missing contents, she took back package and stamped it RECIEVED OPEN/DAMAGED. PO manager took report but item never found. The report was taken immediately by manager that day. I had made a complaint earlier about politeness. Please file a compliant about your experiences. This manager made me feel not welcome. He did not fully inform me about Ca driver license info. He told me that license must be Po Box number only. That makes ca driver license not good. I finally added my post number on street number. DL delivered ok. Manager also does not give you complete info. I asked about needing st address on license and he said that it has to have PO number. Ok, why did he not tell me to include PO Box number on second line of DL. he deliberately gave me complet info. He needs training on how to welcome new customers and how to be polite.

Having been a customer at this post office for over 34 years I have nothing but high praise for OUR hardworking USPS employees. Through rain, snow, heat and blizzard they provide excellent service and hometown courtesy. The diversity of the staff is a shining example of our great American heritage. Proud of THEM ALL.

I have been using this post office for six years now and have had hardly ANY problems and everyone has been polite and professional. Maybe twice, I have had to politely ask them to move things along because they were chatting with a customer for a little too long. Like anywhere, don't come in with a chip on your shoulder and you'll be just fine. Some of the other reviewers on here are apparently just racist, and/or unhappy people to begin with.

The black lady here is one of the most aggravating c*nts I have ever met, she openly laughs at people when they complain! Her attitude is cr*p, her intelligence is sub-saharan, and her work pace is slower than a dead snail. If she is the only one working when you visit, just come back another time.

Shame on you James Russel! I’d bet you routinely have similar experiences. Unfortunately for you (and those cursed to endure you), “wherever you go, there you are” and your reprehensible attitude goes with you.

I agree, Jordon. The postmistress in this post office is incompetent, and basically appears to be white trash. When I first got my box after moving here, she wouldn't let me pic up a package because I didn't have a picture ID (I was waiting on my new one to come in the mail). Even though they'd just given me my PO box a couple days before and should have remembered me, she wanted to exert her pathetic authority and made me drive home and get my drivers license receipt--even though it didn't have my pic on it , so didn't "comply" with her rules anyway. She makes it up as she goes along. I got the vibe from other postal workers that they are afraid of her. Now, with the Xmas rush, they make lines form out the door to pick up packages due to her inept management. Instead of getting to work an hour or so before they open the doors, and sorting mail, so that they can all be up front moving the crowds quicker, they don't get mail sorted until almost NOON, so that while lines form out the door during this holiday period, they have one person up front trying to deal with it, while the rest are in the back sorting mail. The postmistress should be fired!!

Candace, perhaps you'd like to reconsider your rude and rash characterization of the Running Springs post office employees? The postmistress is actually quite competent and considering that EVERYONE must use a post-office box and the workload in that office is therefore exponentially multiplied, they do an excellent job. Further, they not allowed to give you mail without a picture I.D. -- they could lose their job! And... they are not allowed to come in early. Their entry and exit is monitored by computer and if they enter and exit outside normal hours, they can be fired. Would you risk your job so people don't have wait in line and/or bring their I.D. -- which you shouldn't be driving without anyway? I doubt it. Shame on you!!!

This is the worst post office I literally have ever been to,
I have live in many states do to my military career. I moved up to running
springs on august of 2013 to “save money” my first impression was that of a low
class government business, and to this day they are still the same, I have not
once seen an employee dress in a professional manner, but that of a stained
blue T-shirt to look like the ones they are supposed to wear, almost every
employee there has an attitude like we are disturbing them. On June 5th I went into the running
springs post office to inform then that I need a vacation slip, I was leaving
for my annual 2 weeks of training for the army national guard, which I am a staff sergeant in, I thought all was well
until today I went into retrieve my mail, when they brought my mail out to me I
immediately noticed it was not my box, there was about 20 pieces of mail and
only 2 were mine, I informed them on their misstate, they went to locate my
mail but unfortunately they could not find my mail, it magically disappeared, the man was unsympathetic to my problem and I
felt like I was bothering him. The post master came out to talk to me and at
this time I was a little upset she told me they don’t know if they sent my 2
boxes back or what not and then she told me she was not hear for 2 weeks as well
so she couldn’t give me a definitive answer on my problem, I felt she was
rushing me since there were people in line and could hear our conversation, so
now I am screwed and this wasn’t the first time this post office lost some of
my mail but it’s a government office so it boils down to being my fault. Worst post
office of all time, needs new leadership ASAP
