I am asking if you have 3 shipments for me the gps shows it at your post office

I have been calling this post office with the number posted on line all morning and I just get a message that my call can't go through. I have called other post offices in the area who say I have to contact this post office and they have provided other phone numbers to call and again all of them say the call can't go through. I have even tried called the 1-800 number but I can't get a person and none of the prompts address my concern. We have an apartment mailbox that the postal carrier lock has fallen out of. We need it replaced because anyone walking by can access the tenants mail. Who do we contact to get this taken care of? Obviously our mail carrier is not taking care of it.

Hello US postal service , i just left your Laurel street Oakland, Ca location . Went there after several attempts to reach a manager by phone went unanswered. The problem is the Mail Courie for my area continues to put my Mail on my bottoms steps , instead of in my Mail box where it belongs . This has been going on for sometime now . And got dammit I’m sick and tired of it . That Mail Courie is an Asian male early 40s. He should be fired for his unprofessional behavior . I have the photos to prove what he has been doing. After waiting one hour the representative was transferring my call to the Postal Inspector. My call was cut off. I received an E-receipt for a box rental that someone else made using my name. It has become common practice that when the regular postman for route 608 is absent or off, that the assigned coworkers do not deliver the mail. This has occurred at least 7 separate days over the last span of 5 months. Those of us who can see what is the expected delivery by your own scan services, know the mail is expected but it has often not been delivered. Also, we who rely on postal service for important items like medication, have witnessed poor service by receiving text indicating package will be delivered, but does not arrive. This poor service is in violation of your own contract regarding first class mail but you supervisors can only respond, that the lack of delivery is "wrong" when you are confronted. Let this review along with several previous complaints copied to our assembly woman and the postmaster document what you all fail to understand. It is no wonder that the organization is losing money, the jobs are not being performed. Poor management is obvious when a supervisor tells a customer they are wrong with the excuse that you just don't have any mail that day. Only an idiot that doesn't understand their own tracking system with emailed scans to customers that inform what is out for delivery would make such a stupid statement. I suggest you track your delivery people when you overwork them by splitting up another delivery because yes when they do these extra routes, they often work late into the evening (8-9pm), to deliver mail. The insubordinates, just don't deliver and wait for the regular guy to return.

This post office has declined in service. When our regular postal delivery person is off work, no one fills in for his absence. It has now become a weekly matter. The Civic center postmaster needs to do his job and make sure first class mail is delivered pursuant to the agreement of that stamp Disgruntled--no mail again--9:20pm

Just watched the Investigstive Unit story on NBC News. The USPS should be held accountable for outdated policies that cost the life of a long term worker of 28 years. The lack of timely response and cold nature of those with supervisory responsibility is an embarrassment to the post office in the city of Oakland and the USPS nationwide. With the widespread use of cell phones, any postal employee should be allowed to and responsible for calling 911 in an emergency and not be required to work through others to help fellow staff.
