yesterday, a postal delivery employee shoved a package into our mail box and we cannot get it out. We have tried many techniques but need help...it is solidly lodged in. 265-6415

Needed to reach by phone a person at the Nevada City Post Office regarding a package I was told is in there and can not reach due to several attempts but nobody answers the phone! Ever! I talked to a person at the dispatch center and was told to call the office. I have a tracking # And have been checking for several weeks as to why it was not delivered.

So disgusted with some of the carriers on Banner Mt! They lie about not being able to deliver packages, like last night I received a notification via text that a "notice was left that package couldn't be left- insecure area"!! We live on a private drive with only 2 other houses!! And THERE WAS NO PHYSICAL NOTICE LEFT!!! I've also had carriers sign for my packages which has cost me over $300 dollars in lost items!! This is truly ridiculous!!

You guys are awesome! Always happy to see you at 6am for a chick/duckling/gosling order. Have never, ever lost one from mishandling!

Whenever I call the Nevada City USPS, they DO NOT pick up the phone. I have to call and call, over and over, until I reach someone. This can take up to 45 minutes. Even when I am returning their call!

I am one of those seniors not receiving medications because of the United States Postal Service. After reviewing all of the comments below I felt that it was important to point out that the current state of affairs was intentional over the past 4 years. That becomes painfully apparent when watching house hearings. We need a new postmaster general.

The Nevada City PO has the be the worst postal service in the entire state of California. They lie about why they can't deliver mail. This is a service we pay for and they are more embarrassing than the weather men. You really need to get it together as we pay you and you need to do your job. Hire some competent help because clearly you guys can't handle the job.

My mail has been arriving later and later since early August, usually after 6:30pm I have now not received any mail delivery for 2 days in a row (8/27/2000). What is going on?

I really wonder why we get our mail at 7pm. I have informed delivery and packages don’t arrive that it tells me. I really can’t say anything good about our USPS. It is now 7:02 and still haven’t received our mail.

I live on 240 Boulder Street. I have not received mail in three days. Most unusual.

I am a mile and half outside of downtown Nevada City on Red Dog Road. There has been no mail delivery all week. I'm wondering when we will get mail.
