Ridiculous....have not received grocery fliers for 3 weeks yet neighbors have...tried calling post office at 3:15 yet recording sez closed and hours are 9 am to 5 pm....this post office has been a thorn in my side since I moved to Lomita 6+ years ago...who is in charge? Tried to call 800# that's another joke...can't get out of automated and actually speak to someone.

Only 1 clerk and long line and no flat rate envelopes in lobby. I asked clerk to hand me one from her counter supply and she told me to get in line. She refused to turn around and hand me one. I’ll never go back to your office and I’m headed to do a review for yelp.

I have tried to call the Lomita office and the voice message says they are closed, it is Tuesday 3:00pm and the website says they are open. I am trying to file a complaint for damaged mail boxes. this has been an ongoing issue, the management company has been notified with no result. I have been on hold for 15 minutes and this is not acceptable

Absolutely horrible service. These people got too comfortable with their jobs. Multiple times appropriately weighted package with the right postage has been returned after drop off as "insufficient postage". At another locations the same packages were sent out no problem, confirming the postage was right. Mail gets messed up. Recently mail disappeared completely with no explanation. Later senders send us pictures of the mail with ABSOLUTELY CORRECT ADDRESS AND NAME returned to them as "undeliverable", "insufficient address" and "wrong address". What the hell is going on? Complained to the manager and nothing changed. Today package got forwarded to somwhere AGAIN.

I deposited approx. 25 Xmas cards in the out going mail slot in the Lomita office on November 27th! I just found out that 2 of my friends sent me a picture of their card opened, bent, and even had a copy of a receipt of a previous delivery from Feb. 2019. Also, many of my recipients haven't received their cards yet. I'm concerned because the cards were hand crafted to make them extra special for my friends and family. I have mailed numerous packages and letters from the Lomita office with no problems and all the clerks have been especially nice and helpful. I'm very disappointed that my cards were vandalized and want this to be investigated. As for the exact time I mailed these cards was on Wed., 11/27 at approx. 6:00 am...........so, whoever was working in the sorting room should be looked at as suspects!

I get it, affirmative action will get you a job at the post office. I thought they had to take a test, maybe so they could ascertain, duh, this envelope has this address? 50% of my mail goes to a neighbor in our gated community and then they have to bring it over to me. LEARN TO MATCH THE NUMBERS, SO THE ONE ON THE ENVELOPE GOES WITH THE NUMBER ON THE UNIT. Numbers are the same regardless of whether you bothered to learn English or not. Damn, how hard is it?

Please extend your PO Box access hours, your existing hours is very inconvenience to many box holder including myself, I realized there was some vandalism issue, but I believe shorting the access hours is not the solution, how about ask the law enforcement patrol more often, and or install surveillance camera.
