To lakeport Postmaster I live at 1721 Via Del Cabana Del Lago , Lakeport Today , Saturday 1/21/22 I was talking to a friend in his car at my curb I noticed the postal mail truck coming , I assumed he would drive around us as there was no other cars around , and park at the end of the block as usual. However he stopped behind and started honking his horn. I looked around and he threw up his arms and looked angry My friend drove off I didn’t get any mail today I am concerned about this. Thank you Rosemary Hyden.

An employee of the post office admittedly mis-placed a package that was sent to me in someone else's box. After confronting the manager of the office and others, they mentioned speaking to the owner of the box and he acted as though he had never seen anything. The real awful thing about it is my partner literally watched the man open his mailbox, remove the key, step to the back of the building and saw him leave with a package. Of course, at the time my partner didn't realize the package was ours. The post office is now claiming zero responsibility. Do yourself a favor and choose a different post office
