Sent (and paid $10.80) for Certified Mail Restricted Delivery. The letter was signed for by someone other than the the person it was addressed to. That’s a failure on the part of the Crestline postal employee who handed the letter to the wrong recipient.

14 years I lived a Greenwood NE Population 591. In that time I've received everything I ordered on line some 800 items from staples to Laptops. An never once had anything returned to sender. If it was too big for the P.O. box they'd leave me a curtesy card to pick up at the front desk 9-2:30. Sometimes I thought that was inconvenient but that's a far cry better then returning it to sender. That has happened 4 times now in Crestline and I don't understand why my current overstaffed post office can't cross-reference the P.O. Box they assigned me when I moved here when someone sends me something to my address. This last time I incurred a restocking Fee from the sender. Which he sent me a picture of the package and it ironically had both my PO box and My address on it and they still couldn't figure it out. How in Hell could they not figure that out?

General complaint. This post office like many in rural communities does NOT deliver to addresses. Any parcel with an address is returned to sender. If the street address was replaced with 'General Delivery' it would be held for the recipient. Why can't they save themselves alot of time and revenue and just hold the packages for a short time? They refuse to do simple things that just might make them profitable or they just want you to pay for a PO box?

The Postmaster has been rude to customers for years. Tonight when I went in to get my mail, I could hear her yelling at a customer. She has zero customer service skills and always gets defensive about any issues. She complains about her job and always says it's not her fault. The last several Christmas seasons she has been extra rude which puts a damper on the season since it is a small community and everyone needs to go there to pick up packages, mail etc...I guess she will keep her job for as long as she wants. I have complained before on the USPS site and she acts nicer for a couple of days and then becomes ruder than ever before.

Called to check on a missing package for my customer and was treated extremely rudely by the female postal worker who answered the phone. My customer said that's how they treat him all the time.

Just now in the of moving to Crestline. After our research, we are pleased with our decision. Just now read these reviews of the USPS. Not so positive. Will we need a big box if I get magazines? I am a writer and get a lot of mail. Please advise. Or call. 760-550-8083
