I've had mostly very good experiences with the Carmichael Post Office and the people who work there. I recently missed a delivery that required a signature because I was out of town. I called the post office, got an answer on the second ring. The person I explained my problem to, quickly found my mail and it was delivered the next day. Also, my regular postman is efficient, and very friendly.

The postal guy who has the route for my home SUCKS. I had mail to go out yesterday. He did not stop to pick it up. This is the 3rd time he has bypassed my house because he has nothing to deliver. My mail is sticking out of the box to see. Do I need to get a red flag to make sure when he is not paying attention to mail boxes with mail that needs to go out, he will see the flag and stop? Don was a great carrier and we miss him. My address is 5738 Parkoaks. What will it take to make sure the mail is picked up even if there is no mail to drop off??? This sort of action from him causes my mail to be late on delivery. I mail my bills in accordance as to when they are due and if I can't rely on him picking up the mail like he is paid to do, What the hell good is he?????

I'm located in Cumberland Village Carmichaels PA 15320. I dont know who the new mail carrier is but he is horrible. He is a younger guy that needs to start reading addresses and take more pride in his job. I went out for my mail and the only thing I got was my sewage bill that is a ripped up which means someone else got my water bill cause they come out together. If he can't do his job etter and ha e respect for people's mail then get someone that will.

We never know when we are going to get mail at our business, just two blocks from the Post Office. Now we never get Saturday service. We only get junk mail three days a week and First Class mail on Mondays and Fridays (Fridays is a crap shoot for when it will get delivered - if at all). The delivery is horrible. Just last week we received two newspapers mailed to us from March and April! I tried calling, but no on ever answers the telephone. We send out hundreds of invoices each month - but it is strange that everyone in the Sacramento region pays their bills on exactly the same day so they show up in our mailbox on the same day? I've been tracking our delivery for over a year, so I can prove what was stated above. Someone needs to contact me.

For some reason I had a package marked as attempted delivery and held at post office per customer request even though neither of those were true. I tried to call 10 times on Saturday during business hours and it just rang and rang and rang and no one answered.

I was contacted by one of your employees about an open ticket I filed about my package that was ordered 2 months ago and the last notice was in early August which stated the package was currently "In transit". It is now September 1st and I have yet to receive said package and am at a loss as to what would cause a package to just mysteriously DISAPPEAR IN TRANSIT FOR A MONTH? So I was discussing said issue with an employee that was COMPLETELY useless, hardly spoke English (doesn't bother me but also doesn't help when I'm trying to convey an issue I am having and the person's only response was that "It's in transit sir"). Aside from that the employee was incredibly rude so I started to get frustrated (obviously) and began to ask to speak to a manager/supervisor/ANYBODY that could assist me further and I was completely 100% DENIED any assistance from anybody other than said employee, because and I quote "I am the boss here". So naturally I asked for his information so that I might be able to file a formal complaint about his demeanor and behavior during this whole ordeal but ONCE AGAIN you guessed it I was DENIED ANY AND ALL INFORMATION PERTAINING TO WHO I WAS SPEAKING WITH AND WHY I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO SPEAK WITH ANYONE ELSE!! Why????? Why is the only thing I am told by this employee that his name was Dau and he's the boss?? By this time I'm very flustered and have begun to get angry because of the denial of any and all help in my predicament, which is where "DAU" without a word puts me on hold for 5-10 minutes. After which I start intently asking he give me his information, ignoring any and all nonsense he was saying, trying to get to the bottom of this matter. That was the time that Mr."DAU" hangs up on me.... I'm baffled at this behavior by a Government employee, everything that happened is 110% ILLEGAL BUSINESS PRACTICE and seeing as how I have the entire conversation recorded I have half a mind to report this incident to the BBB or you're corporate office. I NEED THE REQUIRED INFORMATION ABOUT THIS EMPLOYEE AND MY PACKAGE ASAP

I bought a White House onrnament at the Carmickle Post Office on Nov 25. I just opened the box to put the ornament on the tree and the box is empty. I have not kept the receipt, since it is now Dec 12. I've called the Carmichael Post Office, but no one picks up the phone. I am sick. Usually I order these through the White House Historical Assn, but since the Post Office had them when I was there, I just thought it was easier to buy one there. I never occured to me that the box would be empty. I believe the ornament was about $25. Now I feel like I'm completley screwed. I've been buying these since 2003 and never had this happen. It didn't occur to me that I'd need to keep a reciept. I live an hr away and I can't even et someone at the Post Office to answer the phone. I realize this is the holiday season, but I wasted $25 at the Post Office and got noting for my purchase.

This is the second time the mailman has left a package inside my service yard. I have no idea when the package was delivered and fortunately it was a plastic covered package because it was all wet, as the other. This is not my front door and he is too lazy to go to my front door where it is covered and the packages do not get wet. The front door is on Walnut St. entrance. Also, he left my mail in the mail box yesterday, even though he put mail in the box. The box is inside the garage, the package was delivered through a gate to my service and back yard. I talked to the superintendent about this before and the package was left at the front door. He knows where the front door is located. Lorraine York

On 7.24.18 the mail carrier parked directly in front of garbage cans that had been placed curbside for weekly pickup. She then delivered mail on our cul-de-sac. Her truck prevented the garbage truck from collecting my garbage. I stopped her and complained and she lied that she had not done so. Unfortunately for her I was driving behind the garbage truck and saw it all. Her name is Laura.

Wrong. Try again. Carrier moved out the way for the garbage truck. But you failed to see the parked pick up trucks extending into the cul-de-sac, blocking the cans. Probably why the garbage truck couldn’t get in. Your can wasn’t the only one left behind. Wrong name too. :p

To Whom This May Concern, I use California Ave quite often. Yesterday I observed a letter carrier, truck # 0126216, @ 2:43 p.m. run the stop sign at Landis and California. The public runs those stop signs often, but I don't expect it from mail service. Thank You

I am not receiving my mail because it's being delivered to a different address. It is apparently not possible to register a complaint so I am voicing my frustration with U.S.P.S. here. My only recourse is to speak to my carrier.

I need to file a complaint and no one ever answered the phone. I keep getting a residents mail in my mail box. Our names or apartment numbers are not even close. It I'd a serious issue when their prescriptions are delivered to me. I made sure they got to the right person. It is carelessness on the part of the carriers not to take the time to read the correct box numbers.

My carrier is a great person. She knows the route and does an exceptional job. However, on her RDOs (Regular Days Off) I notice too many mistakes. Miscased/misdelivered pieces of mail for an address that is around the corner. Can we fix this? My neighbors have been getting some of my mail as well. I was just notified that a package was not deliverable due to not being able to access my front door... not acceptable! I'm on a busy street...not in a gated community! Try again!

So often people contact the post office only when they have a complaint. I just want to be different. Our mail carrier is exceptional. He rarely makes a mistake, but when he does, he is very quick to fix it and apologizes immediately. They have a tough job. I'm thankful the mail carriers bring me my mail every day. I'm thankful I can put a package in a carrier's hands and know that it will be delivered to someone of my choosing, even if that person is clear across the country. Thank you, carriers, for all you do!!!

On July 3rd I was awaiting for a delivery. My tracking info indicated my package was delivered to my home at 5:00 p.m. and sitting on my porch. How can that be when I was home all day and at 5:00 I was in my front yard. I checked with my neighbors and no package. Later in the evening an elderly couple drove up to my residence and gave me my package. I asked for their address and they left. The next morning I walked to their house and noticed there were no numbers on the house or the mailbox. However the neighbors mailbox was clearly marked. This POS driver delivered my package five (5), I repeat 5 houses from my residence. It was daylight out. Good thing we have good neighbors or else my camera equipment would have been gone. Whoever you are you need to be fired for incompetence and laziness. I will be waiting for a reply. From an "UNHAPPY CUSTOMER."

I got a note to come pick up a package. It had no info on it except first name and address. I went in at 8am and saw it was closed. I had to go to work. I took an extra hour of time off to drive back to Carmichael from my place of employment plus $5 in gas to find it was a birthday card. I was like, why didn't you just put this in my box? He said, oh, it says it needed to be signed for? I was like, where? He pointed at the German text that simply said gift - birthday card in German. I said as much to him. He said the mailman couldn't read the German so he didn't want to take a chance. Well, 2 weeks before when my other child got a card from his grandparents in Austria, it was left in our box. What gives? I wasted plenty of time and gas today. Grrr.

I mailed a package from Carmichael Post Office October 3rd, registered and insured for over $4,000. The tracking only gives the Carmichael Post Office acceptance. On October 14th I called the national 800 # and was talking to customer service and had just given her my phone number and the tracking #, then was disconnected. I figured that she would call me back or at least do something about checking on the tracking, but NO. Today, October 16th I decided to call the Carmichael Post Office since that is where it was mailed from and the package has still not reached its destination. I called the phone # and let it just ring and ring until Verizon disconnected the call. It must have rang 100 times. I immediately called right back and let it ring again. It was finally picked up after about a dozen rings. Ricardo is checking on the package, I will see what happens. It is now 10 pm and I have not heard back from Ricardo or anyone at the USPS. Ok, it is 10/17 and I called the Carmichael Post Office back. I spoke with Brian/Bryan, he said there is no Ricardo that works there! So, this means that the person that answered the phone yesterday did not give me their real name. HMMMMM that is customer service for ya! Well, Brian/Bryan looked up the tracking # and found that the package had been delivered today. (When I enter the tracking # into the USPS system it still says "Accepted in Carmichael" and that is it! I contacted the recipient to find out if he received it but have not heard back. So, more to come...........

I have had nothing but problems with the Carmichael Post Office. I went in to complain about packages not being delivered. Talking to so call supervisor does not work. This last time I went in to the Post Office I told them this was a formal complaint because they did it again. They said another Supervisor would call me today at 1 pm. It is now 3 pm. and I am still waiting. I guess I will need to talk to the Postmaster. I have never in my 50 years had any problem with a Post Office before. I mean like we pay to have packages delivered to the address on the label, just wish they would do their job correctly. Is there any logic now of days. (Deliver Rain or Shine only if you want to).
