The limited hours of PO Box access nowadays there is ridiculous. Not everyone is able to get to this Post Office after getting off working a 9-5 job on the weekdays due to Traffic conditions in this area, especially if they are coming back from a Silicon Valley/San Jose area job. Hours of access need to be changed back to the original hours before the Pandemic so that we don't have to wait for days sometimes to receive our PO Box mail. Also the weekend hours are also troubling because we cannot always get to the Post Office before the doors are locked at an even earlier time than the weekdays. Closing the Post Office at NOON on a Sunday is seriously problematic, especially to individuals who can't make it by that time because they have weekend nighttime jobs and get up late in the morning as a result. Very shameful lack of consideration to the longtime PO Box holders like my myself!

We have a business in Capiitola. Lately, we are finding that many letters and bills mailed from our office outgoing mailbox, are not reaching their destination...This is becoming very concerning as bills need to be paid...and clients need to receive our correspondence.

FIVE STARS! Super helpful, and actually open on the weekend to mail packages, unlike Santa Cruz.

Interesting the issues of the dissatisfied customer below. I wonder if their location is less straightforward or something. I have had really excellent US Postal service at my home in Capitola since I bought it 27 years ago. I much prefer them over UPS, who has left boxes in plain sight all day or in the rain with no notice. I think the post office is a bargain.

I repeatedly have packages put in the wrong mail box and magazines get torn and crumpled. This post office is a disorganized mess.

Capitola postoffice no longer provides passport service. You can still pick up the form only for new applicant, not for renewal. They told me I have to go to the Santa Cruz main postoffice. Passport hour is 9 am to 12 noon, not 4pm.
