We only seem to receive mail every 1 - 1 1/2 weeks. Not good when you're expecting medications. I don't know if it's a staffing issue? Why aren't we receiving mail as regularly as we used to?

The mailcarrier lady on my route in Albany broke the key on the front door of the apartment building when she was trying to open the front door to deliver mail and part of of the key broke off and is now stuck inside the lock. She called me saying she did it and now will not take responsibility for it. I even gave her two local locksmiths to contact, but she says she cannot take care of that. Totally irresponsible and not right. Now my tenants cannot get access to the front door to go inside the apartment building because of the key stuck inside. I will contact the postmaster inspector and the Berkeley main post office in charge of her Albany mail route.

My package was never delivered and now I received a notification that I was suppose to pick it up. My package is now on its way BACK to the send. This is ridiculous!

The US Post Offices are so incompetent they should all be closed. We have to end the billions of tax payer dollars that subsidize this dysfunctional private business. Let exhisting private delivery, take-over and make room for a new private business come in and take over the roll. Nothing will improve the USPS. It is making itself obsolete.

Post offices in the Bay Area are pretty poor and this is near the bottom of the ones I've experienced. Tried two times to drop off a Passport application here and both times were miserable. The woman who accepts passports is incompetent and should be fired. It took here 45 minutes to do a single passport. She had a line of 8 people waiting and she headed out to lunch without saying anything. Some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced! If you need passports go to Berkeley Rec Sports at 2301 Bancroft Way. They're fast and pleasant.
