I am surprise to see all of the negative reviews of this post office. We have lived in Clarkdale for two years, and while I don’t go to the P.O. frequently, the counter employees have been courteous and helpful. I have rarely had to wait for service. On one occasion, the manager made a special run to our house to deliver a package that had been overlooked. Today I called and the phone was answered promptly by a polite employee who doublechecked for mail held for us when we were out of town. He discovered some items that should have been give to us yesterday and told us how to access the building so we could get it after hours. So the only suggestion I’d have is to perhaps reorganize how held mail is stored so it doesn’t get overlooked.

If you like Easter Egg hunts your postal delivery service is top notch. Is it going to be tossed into the yard over the 3 foot fence somewhere? Will it be wedged under the gate (so it won’t blow away I guess)? Maybe it be tossed halfway onto the walkway to the house? In the two years at out residence I would like to say 2 maybe 3 packages have been left at the door when not fitting in the mailbox. The other day an item that should not have been bent or put in the mailbox (we have a locked mailbox with a slot for the mail to be inserted...ohh, at a previous time I was told it would be easier for the deliveries if we just left it unlocked. Kinda defeats the purpose huh? 🤷‍♂️) wedged into the box and creasing the item. It wasn’t ’bent’ but jammed into the box enough that it damaged the item. Is it that hard to deliver mail now? I’d love a mail carriers job if you need to replace some of these outside hires you use. Just getting fed up I guess. Jeesh 🙄

WORST carriers in my lifetime. They do no deliver the packages to the door and instead THROW them onto the lawn. Everything in the last package was broken.

We do not seem to be getting regular mail service at our home for the past week. I had the flag up and a letter to be picked up in the box from 9am to after 6pm yesterday and no one showed up to pick it up. Again today, no mail service. Have you hired contractors who only come by when they feel like it??

Having lived in this town 30 years +, I will never understand why the postal employees are so very rude, especially young Kristen, she should be grateful she has a job but then she inherited it because it seems her mother, father and other family members were employees....feeling entitled are you Kristen, you should be ashamed!

I have had several encounters with the staff at this Post Office and each time I go away angry and frustrated with the lack of service and rudeness displayed by the staff. I HATE doing business there! I was not surprised to see the other comments relating to the rude staff as every transaction I have had there over the past 3 years has been the same, rude staff and unsatisfactory service. I will also submit a formal complaint as this is not acceptable behavior.

I want to start by saying that I always practice politeness while in public, and I am also in the customer service industry. I came to this post office originally to schedule an appointment to get a passport and I was greeted by a very rude blond women. She made me feel like i was not welcome at all, and i thought maybe she was just having a bad day. nope just a very rude person that completely lacks any form of customer service whatsoever. today i went in for my actual appointment and i got an even ruder women named Katie. she gave me a dirty look right when i walked in and then demanded that i move counters and get my papers out!!!!!! she was very slow and 'sighed' constantly while filling out the paperwork for my passport as if i was doing something that annoyed her. she then stapled my birth certificate and got mad and blamed it on me saying that i did it!!crazy..... These women need to be fired and have absolutly no business servicing anyone at all... I will never be returning to this post office again!

I'm not entirely sure what the issue is with the women who work at this post office, but the two who are usually there are by far the rudest, most ill-tempered women I've ever dealt with in my life. These women, one in particular, will make the fact that you are wasting her time excessively apparent by both sighing every.single.time she has to do something even remotely troublesome or by being so condescending that you'd rather just stop the appointment you made for passport services than continue to be degraded by this woman's condescending and outright rude comments. When asked if I'd like to pay with money order or check, I said I'd like to use my debit card (so I can buy a money order) to which she replied, "how is that going to work if you're sending this to the US State Dept? Are you going to mail them your debit card?" Obviously I'm not going to mail the State Dept. my debit card and she knew that. If I wanted to be bombarded with condescending, rude comments I would have just invited my mother-in-law over. I'm not sure what it is that makes them so rude... Is it the great benefits government workers get? Or is it the job security? Perhaps it's the above average wage? The world may never know. Either way, avoid this post office at all costs

the people that work at the post office in clarkadle az are the rudest people ive ever had to deal with! they make you ring a bell for service cuz no one is ever at the front desk and then get mad at u for ringing it! they TRY to give you higher prices to ship items when they are flat rate envelopes! Just to stick the money in their pocket! one of them actually rolled her eyes at me and told me "whatever" when i told her she was wrong! they close the office early during business hours ALL the time! it's ridiculous how they treat people when we are there just to ship our mail! they should ALL be fired and hire some real courteous people! my plan is to complain further on this matter! i hop they read this!

You should definitely contact the Federal office number as we have had our share of complaints as well. The main office is located in Kansas.
