I decided to mail a package today. I arrived 10 minutes before 1:00PM and even though there was a line going out the door, there was only one postal employee taking care of customers, while another employee was just sitting outside in a postal truck. Since the sign said the post office would close from 1PM to 2PM for lunch, I decide to come after the postal lunch break. I arrived at 1:55PM, but at 2:00PM the post office was not opened. Another 5 minutes pass and still not open. Ten minutes pass and still not open. At 13 minutes past the stated opening time, an postal employee comes out and said to the line waiting out the door that it will be another 10 minutes before the post office will even open. This is unacceptable, so the majority of customers just left. I, personally, took my package to the UPS store, where they treat customers appropriately. Last time I "try" to mail a package with you.
