I have not gotten anything in the mail since last Wednesday, June 17, 2020, and today is Monday, June 22, 2020. I placed our power bill in the mail Friday, June 19, Saturday, June 20, and today, June 22, and it has not been picked up yet. I had to hand-deliver our bill to the main post office myself in hopes that it will reach the power company before the due date of Thursday, June 25, 2020. I hope our bill makes it to Birmingham, Alabama before then. Is our mailman sick, or skipping out on duties? Please advice me regarding the same. I surely hope you have not laid postal workers off because of the virus, and I hope I don't have to expect this to be a regular occurrence.

Today, Dec 2 2014, I went in the Eastbrook PO to mail a letter. I was second in line after a couple at the counter with 5 Priority Mail boxes. The one clerk there started to tape the first box and spent at least twenty minutes taping their boxes while the line grew out the door. After all that and she told them the price, the people complained that it was too much. She then spent time telling them they could transfer the contents to a first class box and gave them boxes and tape. The couple left with the boxes, so all that time and effort was wasted. When I finally got to the front, I complained and she said taping the boxes is one of their responsibilities. I don't blame the lady at the counter; she was trying to provide good customer service. But there needs to be a procedure to take care of the customers who are ready to go. Maybe she could give them the tape and take care of other customers while they tape it up.
