I came in Friday (12/11/20) and dropped off my packages that I already had ready (packaged and labels printed) with a lady at the front desk. She told me to just leave them with her and never gave me a receipt. Which I thought was odd. Now, 5 days later I go to check my tracking and it is not showing up that USPS has even received my package. Was it stolen did she throw them away? I need answers. I have been trying to get in contact with this branch and they will also not answer. Did I mention they are very rude as well??

I have called multiple numbers and spent over an hour trying to get a person with USPS on the phone with no success. My package was scheduled to be delivered on 12/3/2020. It has been at the USPS Green Springs Annex just down the road from my house here in Birmingham since 12/3/2020, with no updates. I emailed USPS on 12/7 and did not receive a response. When I tried to email again today, 7 days later, it said I already have an open order and have wait 3 days from submitting the first order or call the 1-800-ASK-USPS number, which I can not get a representative on the phone at and it has been 7 days. This delay has cost us an entire month of service. I need someone to contact me so I can come pick up my package myself today.

I went in to the 813 Green Springs Hwy., Homewood, AL 35209-4917 location on 7/1/20 to discuss the issue of receiving other people’s mail for the last 1 & 1/2 years. I have reported this issue to the carrier and I’ve written notes on the mail but the issue hasn’t been corrected. I’ve even gotten rude messages on the mail I’ve marked. I have put the wrong mail back in the box and I’ve pushed it so that it was hanging off the inside of the box. The carrier accused me of throwing the mail on the floor intentionally! I’ve told the carrier that my last name is the only family name who lives at our apartment unit! I’ve submitted all the change of address forms but we are still receiving the wrong mail after over 1-1/2 years (16 months)! The mail looks to be very important and I’m sure the former tenants need these letters. I know I would. And, I fear that I may not be receiving all of my mail! I was told by an employee at the counter at the 813 Green Springs Hwy location that the location was NOT a Post Office and that I needed to go the the Snow Rd location to file a complaint and get the issues dealt with. She said the facility was a postal service financial service center ( or something like that), not a Post Office! There are signs on the outside and inside of this location that specifically states that it IS a Post Office. One plaque even states to was opened & dedicated in 1981 as a Post Office! In fact, there is signage all over the place that identifies that place as a Post Office!!! Other customers in line seemed it be as surprised and confused as I was. The lady at the counter was nice enough to give me a slip of paper with the name, location, & phone number of the nearest “real” Post Office. BTW, the note was preprinted and she seemed to be quite use to handing them out. Wouldn’t it be great if things worked as they should and not as they do?!

I’ve updated my information with you guys in person. It was assured that I would receive my package and I did not and now it’s saying delivered I tried contacting you guys yesterday about it no answer. I would like to know where they delivered my phone because that’s 150$ I don’t have and a waste because the company I ordered through saying no refund.

We have complained and complained about not getting mail delivered for days at a time. We are a business. You have to deliver to us before 5 pm. We have launched complaints and investigations and nothing ever gets better about the service here. Businesses should be getting mail delivery and pick up daily!!!!!!
