I have a very serious complaint with the delivery service at 114 Valley Cover Rd Jacksonville, Al 36265. I tried to call the Post Office in Alexandria, with no answer to my call. There has been multiple times where items have been left in the driveway, beside bushes in the driveway , outside the garage, and on the porch. This has went on for several years. I understand that there were probably different drives but the standard is seriously lacking on delivery services. The complete disregard for items being delivered doesn’t make sense. Items have been ran over, when backing out of the driveway because of the placement of them. It is completely laziness and carelessness for the job. Literally open the door and drop the package out on the ground and leave. This was witnessed by my Mother-N-Law. This last incident was today. A package was delivered and left on the porch. I don’t know if it was delivered late yesterday or this morning. There was a large rain storm event today, large enough to cancel the school. I know I have had items placed in bags when it was going to rain. This delivery was vitamins and is completely soaked. No good. If the package will not fit in the mailbox, is it too much to ask the mail person to try and knock on the door to see if someone is home. They are already out of the car. Just knock and let someone know that it is delivered. The complete disregard for the job is crazy. Like I said, this has been going on and I am done being quiet. I understand that it is late on Friday and there is a Holiday on Monday, but I expect to have a response early next week.
