very disappointed in Homer P.O. always trouble there with packages getting from Wis. to Fritz Creek through Homer. They seem to mysteriously get lost.

Had my p.o. box for decades and street boxes get ripped off often by fraudsters. Then again my "secure" box regularly gets other peoples mail and even with numbers totally different (where dyslexic not an excuse).

Spring 2016; Mysterious disappearing packages, all tracked to Homer Post Office yet never delivered to the intended address. Large Packages, not the small enough to over look type. Multiple packages to multiple PO Boxes..... just disappear. Only received shoulder-shrugs from postal employee when questioned. This should be investigated locally and believe Post Master General should be involved.

2000-2015: Great place, great workers and then at times, the worst of the worst! It comes and goes, and in summers, with our usual tourist infestation (lol - we love'em actually!), it can be REALLY busy in there! But that just a seasonal thing, and should be expected by locals and visitors alike. Staff is not added, but patience should be -- by the workers and by those they serve! The Anchor Point location is connected to this one and I believe they actually get our mail to Anchorage and beyond ... what a great crew, too!! No place with people in it is going to be perfect, so just be polite yourselves, understand that workers might still be training (or may have been up all night with a sick baby, or grandfather), and that, just like you, they are doing their best and MOST of the time, it's more than enough! Golden Rule ... Golden Rule ....

It is the, worst post office I have ever had to deal with. The manager should be replaced. Long lines, lost packages, incompetent and impolite staff.

Homer post office has some of the rudest workers. I DREAD going there. There's always people having a BAD day.
