The recent employees at this post office treat immigrants in a rude manner. They automatically assume that it's OK to take a tone of voice and loudness that is not acceptable and not seen with other customers. It was not like this before. The recent employees need help with customer service. They look disgruntled and compete with the DMV facility for their level of apathy! I sincerely hope this changes.

I never lived in Tappan, but I went to school there when the principal of the William O. Schaefer School was the man himself. In fact if you got in serious trouble you would het sent to the principal's office and he would paddle your rear end himself. I know the place was turned into apartments. I had some very good teachers as well as some sickies. Later on I went to Tappan Zee High School. I had many friends in those days, special mention to Joseph (JoJo) Cardillo and his sister Michelle, Janet Maynard and what my father used to call "the Hickory Hill mob". I miss them all. I didn't really grow up until I was in my thirties (now I'm 73). Best wishes to anybody who remembers me, and they are welcome to contact me. I won't speak ill of the dead, these days that includes just about everybody.

I went there too and we are the same age, you must have been in Mr. Bolander's last class as I was in Mr. Godick's. I never made it to TZ high school, sent to Nyack and then moved to Florida. I remember the school very well and had many friends there too.
