PLEASE stop forcing packages/envelopes into the mailbox that don't fit. Both of children received bent diplomas on 2 different days and today another stiff, cardboard envelope was bent inside the mailbox. Last month I was waiting for something important to arrive. When it didn't arrive as scheduled I looked online and it said something to the effect of, "unable to access the porch." There was NOTHING in the way of the porch and it was Spring with no snow, so that was totally false. However, I did receive 2 other packages that day that were crammed in the mailbox. "Unable to access the porch" must be the mail person's way of saying, "I couldn't cram any more in your mailbox and didn't feel like getting out of my truck to deliver the last package."

While trying to maintain social distancing, I have been ordering from amazon prime to get things I’d normally have to go to the store for. I’m shocked at the condition of some of the boxes I’ve received, banged up and barely taped and inside content boxes are banged up. I’m an essential worker and working from home. Well now I see why my boxes are banged up, I saw my postal carrier today throw my box on my cement front porch. Inside the box was a fragile item that should not have been thrown. Normally I wouldn’t complain and I understand these are difficult times, but he couldn’t walk 2 more feet and set it down? Now I know why my boxes come in such bad shape.
