Mailboxes do not properly lock in my building.

I don't understand what's wrong with their carriers. The first one marked my package as Delivered and then just didn't. Can't help but wonder if they stole it. Now, its replacement not only went the wrong way but it's being shuttled back and forth between two locations like USPS doesn't understand where it's supposed to go. I was going to give the items in that package as part of a Christmas present, but that's not happening now. I literally hate the carrier that caused the problem at this point. Whether it was due to laziness or sticky fingers, they created a headache I just didn't need. It's like opening a gift filled with dog shit for the holidays.

The Post Office does *not* read this site. They are not going to contact you if you leave your personal information here. Stop leaving your names, numbers and addresses here.

The absolute worst. Their carriers love to mark packages as "Delivered" and then not deliver them. Packages don't go missing in my building, so if they're not downstairs it's not because anyone took them, it's because they were never there in the first place. Another thing they're fond of is flagging packages as undeliverable on the basis of no one being home. Meanwhile I've been home all day waiting for the package, and no one's rung the bell or knocked at the door. Once a few months ago the carrier marked it as undeliverable for this reason at seven in the morning. You're going to tell me nobody was there? Yeah sure. Not delivering packages is just easier than delivering them for these people.

The postal office in Rego Park is useless . There is no way of communicating with anybody due to the fact that they don't answer the phone ( EVER ). There is nothing you can do to communicate unless you go there and stay in queue . The employees are not friendly , it is an unpleasant experience to deal with them . The Mailman is the only nice person .

The phone rings and rings. No one picks up and then the connection breaks. This has been happening for days now.

Twice this week my mail was not delivered correctly. On Tuesday, July 14, 2020 and today on Thursday 7/16/2020. On Tuesday I was able to get to the mail carrier and ask that he not just leave my mail on the floor. I'm not sure if it was the same mail carrier today, Thursday, but I did find my mail outside and not put in my mail receptacle. I had terrible problems with this in the past and it was finally sorted out. I hope it doesn't happen again. Kindly look into mail delivery at 8530 66 Road Rego Park and you will certainly see that this was a huge problem at one time. Why is it certain mail carriers deliver our mail without a problem and other don't? Kindly respond, thank you. Mary Burke

I live in rego park queens and today is 11-15-2017 and I am still awaiting mail from two weeks ago. I even mailed myself a letter and still haven't received it. also why does the delivery postal worker either put the mail in the wrong box or on top of the mail box? you too lazy to do your job and put it in the correct mail box ? then find another job then.

The worst post office ever, they leave packages in a building lobby that go missing instead of putting at apt door. A federal offense!

I am very upset with your delivery service. We were supposed to get delivery this Monday, 05.29.17. We were home three people. However in spite of repeated claims of alleged DELIVERY nobody ever cane to our apartment, the package WAS NOT DELIVERED. Allegedly they were trying to deliver two times, but we did not hear any knock on the door no doorbell and mo phone call Tracking # 9361289691090497388022. Is there any chance of getting it on 05/30/17? Very disappointing customer

Absolutely the worst excuse for a post office. This place and the service is the exact reason the postal service is in trouble. Pay them a visit, if you have the strength, you cannot make this "bleep" up...

I've lived in many different places throughout the country. Never have I encountered such incompetence as this post office. Within the past few years, there have been at least 7 packages that have never arrived--and no delivery slip was left. There have been times that I've gone to the post office to pick up one package and they're like, "oh, you have 4 packages here." I'm sorry--FOUR? They weren't packages I was expecting and I was never notified of them, so they just sat at the post office for god knows how long. All I want is to get my mail. I leave for work at 6:45 am and I don't get back until 5:30pm--I can't get to the post office to retrieve it myself. I've filed numerous complaints with the USPS and nothing ever comes of it. So fed up.

I agree with the negatives. I have not received mail for several days and found an important letter on the mail ledge correctly addressed to me. My name is in the mailbox???????? What is wrong with Rego Park delivery of mail? I've lived here for almost one year :-( I've also encountered someone extremely nasty when I called several months ago when the mail person was trying to deliver someone else's mail to me. You can't even get through to the post office. I emailed the main post office. This is extremely serious, that is not to be able to get your mail.

I just called the local phone number for the Rego Park Post Office and a nice man answered after the second ring and I explained to him that I did not get the TV Guide magazine and I first called TV Guide customer service to make sure they had the correct address including my apartment number, name and zip code. TV Guide magazine did have all the correct information and extended my subscription for an extra issue. The nice man at the post office listened to my story, talked about how he did not even know that they still had a TV Guide magazine, took all my information and said he will see what he can do about this. If he just tells that he received a call, gives my name and address and says just to be more careful, that would be good. My experience on the phone with this post office was very good and I would give them 4 out of 5 stars. The TV Guide magazine is for my 82 year old mom who does not know how to use the guide we have on the cable box. She is old school and prefers to use the TV Guide magazine.

This postal service sucks. As something was mailed to me since 1/28 and I have yet to receive it. I called the post office and their response was that my regular post office person is out 1/31. Which seems convienent. If my mail is not received by Monday I will be calling to report the mail clerk, post office for fraud. This is extremely important mail.No way to also leave any messages to have anyone get in contact with me.

To Gerald/Frustrated-
Listen to yourselves and think before posting because you both sound like morons. First off to Gerald, why are you being so difficult? Just write Rego Park, NY! None if that borough of queens crap is necessary, christ. You're making it harder for them by being so technical. Not surprised the system is confused all the time. Now to idiot #2, Mr. Frustrated. You wonder how the junk catelogues get to your doorstep without a #? You're kidding. All that crap goes to everyone not just you!Wake up people and maybe I won't be so faithless in our humanity...

Worst post office in all of New York. It's like they get paid on commission. Everytime I go here and I get the old white man, William, I always end up paying double what I pay at any other post office, even when shipping the SAME exact thing in the same SAME exact packaging! It's insane. Also, always too lazy to check the back for anything that's not in their immediate reach. It's unfortunate because I ship a lot but I try to avoid this location whenever possible. This is exactly why the US Postal Service is going downhill. The only helpful person at this location is a younger black girl, which I haven't gotten her name but she actually gets it. I think it's time to get new staff, preferably younger.

I have lived at the same address for the last 15 years. Since November, some of my mail has been returned to sender as "undeliverable". I spoke to someone at the post office and he very nastily told me that my apartment number needs to be on my mail because that is part of my address. For the last 15 years it wasn't part of my address and it hasn't been a problem. It seems that when my regular mailman is on vacation, the mailmen/women that covers his route is incapable of reading my name that is in bold letters on the mailbox. I would have thought they knew how to read and had at least a high school education. The nastly person I spoke to at the post office told me that I need to notify EVERYONE that is sending me mail to put an apartment number on it. Funny how all the bs catelogs get delivered without an apartment number.................................

USPS is having severe issues, any package I order, either from a site, or ebay, if they use USPS, and I live in in AZ, it always ships to NY and dies there. Customer support doesn't care, they just give me another number to call which always results in a dead line, it seems they just want to get off the call. Most I've gotten from them is to go to MY nearest post office, get a claim form then fill it out, THEN PAY to mail it. This is a big reason why I NEVER touch this service, the issues will never correct themselves as they will always hide behind the excuse that they have to many orders and it happens all the time, you're not the only one.Noone has taken action in years on this, and I don't foresee them doing it again. Apparently NY is the black hole for the postal office, or a quick way to dump excess mail to lower their delivery times."Mail always goes through" my ass.

This problem I will describe here is very serious, and it is going on for years. The problem is that wrong input data was made into Central Computer of US Postal Office for addresses in Queens, NYC. As a result, myself as a resident of Queens for decades, my deliveries are always get lost whenever the correct address is shown for the addressee. Here is the specifics:
I reside at 61-15, 98 street, Apartment 12-J, Rego Park, Borough of Queens, New York City 11374.
An input at any computer in US such address would be flagged as "wrong". It does not make difference if I delete the word "Borough". The computers will accept only if FLUSHING is made as an input for the name of the city, followed by New York State. No mentioning of Rego Park, or Queens will be accepted by US computers. You can try and see by yourself.
This is going one for years. FLUSHING is not a city. It is a residential area in borough of Queens within New York City, as is Rego Park, which is another residential area of borough of Queens, within New York City.
This appalling incompetence postal service must me immediately corrected!
Please respond.

Only If you read more about the history of Queens , you'll get the answer to this "confusion".. From 1683-1784 Queens had five towns . One of them was Flushing with the zip code starting 113.. . Jamaica 114 and so on.................. So later on when new neighborhoods were established within the geographical location of former Town of Flushing , they got the same zip code 113 ... The Main Post Office (about 1930 ) was built in today Flushing and the other post offices were named Stations. For example Corona Station , Rego Park station etc..etc....
