its a new development with 40 people that didn't got the post to the new development. we talk to the post office but we didn't got the actual help and service.

THIS OFFICE DOES NOT DELIVER ON PRIVATE ROADS
It is, apparently, a liability issue - USPS trucks can not be driven on the road that is not maintained by DOT.
They leave an "attempt" notice in your mailbox.
I was able to reach them via phone. An employee, who introduced himself as "Michael" was very polite, professional and helpful. We had figured out the way to track my deliveries. However, you must understand - USPS will not drive down the private road.
I received a notice that my packages could not be delivered yesterday. I did receive mail. Driveway & steps cleared. I then tried to call & again this but absolutely nobody answers the phone. This is totally unacceptable. I’m sure my packages will be returned & I'll have to try straighten your mess out. I’m unhappy with this lack of communication. If you can’t at least answer the phone!
I read people’s comments. That makes me really concerned because i move in Monroe. I still cannot figure out which mailboxes on mountain lodge rd. Too many mailboxes and post office boxes. I will figure what to do with mails
Unbelievable that my pkg was left in the pouring rain instead of opening the door and leaving it inside. Amazon gave me a credit for ruined items . I told Amazon this is an ongoing problem, they put me on the list to not have Monroe PO deliver my pkgs. Inconsiderate morons
I had a scheduled ppointment today at 11:45am for a passport. Received a voice msg at 11:08 that I had to re-schedule because passport employee did not come into work. Nothing like waiting until the last minute to call. I was in-route to my scheduled appt & never saw I had a voice mail until I was standing in line at the PO. Terrible customer service. I'm sure they knew early morning employee was not coming into work.
LAZY! These mail carriers are too lazy to bring a package to my front door and instead leave a note when it won’t fit in the mailbox. Ridiculous! I wish amazon packages were delivered by a more reliable service such as UPS or FedEX where they make sure the package is delivered on time and placed in a safe location, not left out in the rain!!! So many complaints about this post office as well as their mail carriers, the list can go on and on.
Worst post office ever.... bad carrier service, terrible customer service. My packages are not left at my door, instead I get a ticket and have to come to the post office. Well just like them I WORK FOR A LIVING!!! I am not able to make it to the post office during the week and my stuff gets returned. HATE THESE GUYS!!!!
I would like to say thank you to Jason, our mail carrier. The battery on my dog’s collar died a few weeks ago, and my dog ran out in front of his mail truck. He stopped and beeped the horn to get my attention, then let me know she had gone through the electric fence and was in the road. I cannot tell you how much I appreciated that courtesy. Thank you Jason!
Worst experiences (plural) EVER! Bought a house in Monroe 4 years ago. Daughter's birth certificate lost ... was confirmed to be mailed back by government/passport services, we got the passport, but never got the birth certificate back. Mail continuously delivered to other people. Received mail for anyone with same house number but different street name. Most (wrong) mail received was to 4 different street names that start with the same letter as my street name. After complaining for years, mail lady taped brought sheet with 2 last names inside my mailbox. Both names were misspelled and same thing still happened.
Mailbox left open in bad weather. One time the mailbox was plowed in by town so mail lady placed PAPER letters into a hole in the snowbank where the mailbox was suppressed to be. Mail was soaking wet.
Line at post office is almost always 20+ minutes long. One window open, even though there are visibly people walking around in the back. Something needs to change!
terrible service, order a pick and just get a message 3:30 that package was picked up when no attempt of picking up was ever made!!!!!!!!!!

We have not received any mail now for three days. Have no idea why. When call get announcement that it will take over 45 minutes for response. What's going on?
