I called the Malverne Post Office to inquire about a package that was labeled 'delivered' but never reached my home. I spoke with a very friendly woman on the phone, Sasha, who was helpful and informative. Before Sasha helped me, however, she transferred me to her supervisor. *NOTE: I was not informed that I was being transferred to anyone.* When Sasha's supervisor picked up the phone, I presumed it was still Sasha. She asked me for my address, which I had given immediately before being put on hold. When I explained this, the supervisor got an attitude and transferred my call back to Sasha. I am completely baffled at this utter lack of professionalism, respect, and common courtesy. Sasha acted more like a professional supervisor than her actual supervisor did. I do not know the supervisor's name, but it is a shame that someone in a position of power can be so not deserving.
