They need to fire Anita, she knew an ex clerk, Tina Spearman, stole ten thousand dollars from that office over a period of years. Postmaster, Virginia Palmer then, and Anita Gupta clerk, kept it quiet.

Your so correct about Anita, she only likes her Indian friends. I retired from there now.

For 10+ years I have had a po Box here and the last six months plus I have had nothing bit issues with one particulate post office worker. She is rude, condescending, not helpful, raises her voice and does not give answers to questions that are imperative. She's on her phone and informing customers and is concerned about where she needs to be when the office closes. I had a package sent back to the merchant and had asked why. I gave the confirmation number and she said the number was wrong, and had no answers for me. I had the package resent. To find out they do not accept FedEx packages unless it's their own supplies. That could have easily been explained to me the first time around. They messed up in my payment of my box, closed my box and was beyond rude in explaining to me the process to reopen the box. Made it my fault when it was not. these are only two recent examples with many more to list.

The woman there is always very rude towards me, and I've never sent anything here without a problem occurring. I leave a review here after numerous such occasions. Today, she wouldn't let me send a package because she couldn't find the address on her computer. She told me the zip code must be wrong, but I had checked 3 times with my friend because it was an important package. She didn't check once to see if had input it incorrectly or checked the zip code on the box to make sure she had read it correctly. When I asked her if I should write the address or the name on the signature request form she said very rudely "Well what does it say?". I'm a young college student, and I have always been very polite towards her, so I don't think she singled me out specifically. I wasn't sure if she was just being rude towards me or if there was actually a problem, but anyways it was an important package so I went to the Cornwall post office about 5 minutes later, and they took care of it with no problem. Anyways, this always seems to happen when I go to the Cornwall-On-Hudson post office and I dislike having to go out of my way to visit a post office farther from my home to avoid an antagonistic post office lady.
