Why can the Madison post office not open more than 1 line?

It appears that, once again, my postal carrier has lost or incorrectly delivered my water bill. Both of my next door neighbors have received theirs and mine should have been delivered the same day.

I have contacted the post office several times in the past due to receiving my neighbors mail. I am still getting their mail sometimes. Also, my carrier almost daily does NOT close my mailbox, and my mail is getting wet? Where is my mail that my neighbors get that is mine? I have never once had them bring me my mail. I have received their mail 20-25 times in the past year..

Informed Delivery indicates I have mail (bills) that are not delivered. They do not answer the phone and after multiple rings a message indicates memory is full and hangs up. I guess the only way to receive service is to go in person to the post office? This is ridiculous!!!

Delivery Attempted - No Access to Delivery Location Lies!!! I am in a hotel. They are staffed 24/7. It is not possible that there was no access to the delivery location. The tracking info online stated the package would be delivered the next business day. It is now business day #3, and there is no movement on the tracking number. I really hate lazy people that don't want to do the job they are paid to do. Time is up, and I'm checking out of this hotel. I will have to report this package as lost.

Ike Rookmaker I have had the same address for twenty five years! I was getting at least junk mail everyday until recently! Today marks the tenth day that I have not received any mail however, across the street neighbors are getting mail! I should have received business related mail each of the past ten days! What happened to, “ the mail must go through!”

On 9/24/20 I mailed four letters to four different doctors . I mailed from the post office to make sure they would get there. As of this date the doctors have not received their payments (Nov 2). This is not the first time that mail has been lost from the Madison office. What is going on inside this office?

I have not received mail at my new address since I moved here three weeks ago. (Yes, I filled out the change-of-address form for USPS.) I have tried calling the Madison office for days and cannot get an answer. I tried emailing the postmaster's email address on the website and it came back undeliverable. I am not anxious to go to the post office because I am immunocompromised, but it looks like I will have to do so or continue to get nothing in the mail. I watch the mail person fly by my house every day - can't even catch her to talk to her! This is so ridiculous!

Why wasn’t our mail delivered yesterday, June 8th? No one in Crescent Landing got their mail. My friend in Northbay did either.

My mailbox is left open by the carrier repeatedly. I have spoken to the carrier about it. I have no problem closing the mailbox & it stays closed until the carrier delivers. This is becoming a daily problem. Please speak to the carrier about this issue.

Hi, i'm having a problem with my mail carrier running up into my yard (I live at Loss Rabbit Madison Ms). I have asked that they not do this, and have on three different occasions repaired the yard damage myself, even putting a stake in place (which is being ignored and they are now running over it). I have even replaced the damaged grass with rocks to give additional room for the carrier but it hasn't stopped the problem as they continue to encroach further into my yard. Not sure what to do, but it's very disrespectful to have no concern for my property. Would like to discuss with someone who can help take care of this, [number removed].

I am also having problems with postal carriers to our neighborhood. I tried to call the Post Office and got an automated recording that put me on hold and then asked my remote pin. I never heard of a remote pin. Nonetheless, when I didn't enter the remote pin I was hung up on. Now I'm on hold with the main USPS to speak with a representative to file a case compliant. Estimated wait time 30-40 minutes. I don't know if I'll have any luck but am waiting. Another option is to go to the Post Office in person.

HI! I just had the most unpleasant contact with the postal carrier at my home. She (Black female, short hair with red in it...would not give me her name) was driving van with 9214922 on front, and the incident happened at 1:30 today, June 12, at 158 Belle Pointe, Madison, MS 39110. Our street has a median going down the middle, and there is frequently a problem with trucks having to park temporarily on the street because of lack of space. I had a contractor that had just come to the house and I had walked out to speak with him,. At that time she drove to my mail box and stopped and just looked at us because of the truck and trailer that was in the way. I asked if she would mind go around the median on the other side. She was absolutely not happy that she was going to have to do that, and backed up her and gave me a wave that you would not be proud of. I was polite with her...and she was so very, very rude. I went to the mailbox to get my mail, and did not have any....not even a flyer. I got in my car and went to her and asked her if she would give me my mail, and she said I did not have any. Wonder why she had gotten to my mailbox and opened it...there is not a day that I don't have mail, with exception of holidays and Sundays. My contractor was amazed that she, an employee of the US POSTAL SERVICE was so rude and had such an attitude as was I. I would like for you to register this complaint on her, along with checking the mail today to make sure we did not have any mail that was to be delivered on June 12th and have it delivered today. I can be reached at the above email or call at 601-966-7388 if you want further information. . Thank you, Joan Bloodworth
