Here in town at Andover we have been getting our mail later & later sometimes 8pm this is not good for Senior Citizens to go out in dark & cross the road to check mail numerous times I thought there was a time that delivery was to be made by…not this late
The Andover post office is awesome. It's only 4 miles from our house in Benton.
Up until a few days ago we haven't had any problems. The last few days The neighbors have brought our mail to us because it was put in the wrong mail box. The time before that we hadn't gotten our phone bill for 2 months and when we did it was over $600. Also we get other people's mail in our mail box then we take it to them here in town.
Other than that there hasn't been any problems.
I LOVE the Andover post office! They are usually busy but they have an efficient staff and the line goes pretty quickly. Everyone is always friendly and I’m always happy to go there!
Horrible service!! 2 packages mailed to Az, suppose to arrive 3 days later! Only received 1 package (the one that I put the my mailing label on)! 2nd package on the way back to sender because no address was found! REALLY! How can 2 packages be mailed from same postal service, same address & only 1 package gets to correct address! The package that was lost were scrubs for my sister who is 1 yr cancer free & works in a medical office!! I would like postmaster Jacob Nelson to reach out to me for a sit down!! I want my package found, shipped back to my sister at this facility expense marked next day arrival!! Clerk 03 needs to do a better job!! I’m still waiting to get this resolved since 3/26/20!’ Do better!! This was the 1st and will be the last time I use this facility and will let others know about the poor service that I have received from this branch!! Have them get training from the Towanda Post Office, they know how treat people and get my packages to the correct person in a very timely manner!! NO lost packages from this group!!
I want to thank Lisa at the Andover Post Office for helping me track down a package that appeared to be lost at a post office in NC. After locating the package, there was a follow up call advising me that the package had been delivered. All of the employees working at this branch are always cheerful, helpful and very attentive even on the busiest days. Wishing all of them a very Merry Christmas. .
