Please inform your carriers to stop placing mail on top of packages left on a porch. The rain gets the mail wet and the wind has blown my mail across my porch. If he/she had put my mail in my mailbox today they would have seen the red flag was up and I had outgoing mail in the box. Instead my mail was on my porch with a package and they left my outgoing mail in the box with the flag up.

I received a notice on my cell phone that I was not home to receive an express package. I hurried home to track down the postman before he left my neighborhood. I was lucky and found him. He said that he had been to my house but there was no package for me. I went home and was shoveling my driveway wen the postman I was previously talking to pulled up. He said he was thinking about it and supervisors deliver express packages on the weekend and he proceeded to make a phone call to his supervisor. He confirmed that the supervisor attempted to deliver and when no one was home he brought the package back to the post office. I told him it was medical supply’s and the post office was already closed on a Saturday I asked if they would refrigerate it. He asked if I was going to be home I replied yes. He told me he would go back to the post office get the package and deliver it to me. This was at 3:30 on a Saturday. I’m sure he wanted to get his shift over with and enjoy the rest of his weekend. But he went out of his way to help a customer. Thank you Paul and have a great day.

All Associates at the Jeffersonville post office AR systemically racist I came in trying to get a new key and they gave me the run around and when I got frustrated they insisted that I was getting violent only because I raise my voice a little bit then they both started yelling at me to get out and I clearly had money that I was showing them and telling them all I needed was a new key because they changed my lock without my consent and I had been living at my address for a year already

I’ve been trying to get through all morning but no one answers the phone. My apartment number is missing from a package that they can’t deliver and there is no way online to fix it. So frustrating.

received incorrect information on tracking package. tracking states NO ACCESS this is not true. Carrier had access to my mail box and could also bring it to my door. I was home and received my regular mail so why not my package. Nothing blocking access to mail box at that time.

I have called the phone that is listed for Jeffersonville Indiana this morning and no answer when it stops ringing it hangs up. I was told by a voice recorder to hold the line. I believe that is bad business. I hope something is done about this. I was only trying to get information about a package that was dropping off on my door step. It had everything on it, but the apartment number, and which company put it there so thanks for the help.

My mom mailed me a package on Dec. 4th, 2020 and I have still not recieved it, nor has it even left the Jeffersonville locations. They have not answered any of my calls or my "Finding Missing Mail" inquiry.

I am trying to call and make a formal complaint to the USPS in Jeffersonville, Indiana. It rings for 31/2 minutes, then it's disconnected. The lady that delivered the mail today, 10/28/2020, which is not our regular lady, did not use a bag and its pouring down rain. Not only did she hand us mail(with checks) that was soaken wet and we had to let them dry before we could get them out or they would rip. We had a box that was completely soaked and she sat it on the floor for me to pick up, instead of handing to me.

I never know what time mail is delivered to my home address. I got a P.O. Box. I have been waiting for a letter with a check in it from ga. Since last Tuesday I called today at 3 o’clock to ask if mail had been delivered yet was told it would be an hour to an hour an a half . I live 3 blocks from po. This is riduluous . Poor service. Hard to get on the phone. And they wonder why there going broke. All letters should come with free tracking if requested. They also close my P.O. Box if it’s one day late payment told me before there’s a 3 day grace period.

1-800-ask-USPS is impossible to get a real person I called my local post office over and over for almost 45 minutes and nobody answered. I am really frustrated. That's why I'm leaving a unfavorable review.

We did not receive our mail yesterday Wednesday 04/17/19. I have tried calling the post office but it says it is transferring to the next available agent but it goes to a busy signal. Our athletic director just found 14 pieces of mail on Taggart between the elementary school and high school. A lot of the mail is addressed to Fairbanks Ave. Please have someone call me as soon as possible. 812-282-8231 just press 0 Thank you!

I have a major complaint. I moved in August 2017, put in a change of address and still my mail is not getting to me. Most recently, the IRS PIN that they give me every year since I was a victim of identity theft did not make it to my new house, now I have to file a paper return. USPS sucks the big one! I cannot believe after almost six months you morons still cannot get it right!

I am not pleased with the service I received today..... I had a lg package - a coat and a smaller one - meds that were stuffed in my mailbox.... when I pulled the coat out, the rest of the mail fell in the water that stands in front of our mailbox.... They usually bring packages up to the door..... I wish they had this one.....

Live in Clarksville, We "don't have a regular carrier" SO the carrier we do have can't read. We constantly get our neighbor's mail on a different street. I am done with this crap. I have yet to receive a letter from my parents insurance company that was mailed over the weekend. Go figure wonder whose box they put our mail in. Will find a way to contact the postal general of Indiana I am so over this crap.

Since when is it even allowed to hand off personal mail to a stranger? You deliver my mail and hand it off to someone that isn't authorized and now my mail and my package are who knows where. Is that even legal for a postman? Rather than dumping mail in a field we just give it to strangers? I'm furious!

Friday Feb. 10, 2017 - no mail today therefore no Evening News. I'm disappointed. I'm angry. It's not the first time. I've been to the Jeffersonville post office and spoken to a manager. He was condescending. 😠 I wish I still had his name, I'd post it here. We have a neighbor down the street with the same last name. They occasionally get our mail and and are frustrated by the position it puts them in. They graciously continue to bring our mail to us. We used to have excellent service but then our regular mailman retired. It's not been good since. Since he's retired we get everything possible electronically and use auto draft for bills. We've been burned because we failed to get the bill. I'm done but I'm still mad.

The mail delivery in Jeffersonville, IN is horrible. The mail carrier Is always on the cell phone with headset. You can hear him talking Half a block away. We are getting other neighbors mail and they are getting ours. We have tried to call some to report this problem But cannot get anyone to talk to us. I guess our next alternative is to contact the US postmaster general To see if we can get any results.

I have never had such horrible mail service. AT LEAST twice a week we receive other people's mail. Sometimes it is a close neighbors house and I could see where maybe the house numbers were similar... but sometimes it is a completely different STREET! It is so frustrating. We always get the person's mail to them.. but we can't be the only one receiving other people's mail and I hope no one has gotten ours and not brought it to us. It's ridiculous!

My postman is always talking on his phone via headset, I am missing several of my packages that I ordered and didn't receive even though it says in my tracking info that it was delivered. I always make sure when I get someone else's packages to get it to the rightful owner, I wish I could have the same courtesy or get a postal delivery carrier that pays attention to the addresses on packages. I do a lot of online shopping and with the holidays coming I am really concerned about the gifts I want to purchase for my grandbabies getting to the proper address.

HORRIBLE! Can someone please explain WHY our mail is only delivered 3 days a week? When it is we OFTEN get someone elses mail. Where is MY/OUR mail? Whomever is getting it is not as nice as to make sure we get it and appears to have either kept it or trashed it. Sitting in my driveway laying on the horn as if it is a life raft to have me get a slip saying I have a package at the post office. REALLY? Could that slip not have been left IN the mailbox? It did NOT need signed for. Could you not have KNOCKED on either of my doors? Their is a porch for either. Common sense and courtesy are not parts of their job description it appears. I too enjoyed having to re-order and pay for a replacement birth certificate that was rush ordered/processed BOTH times - as it was left in the snow which melted and RUINED it.

Only one word to describe Jeffersonville postal service. Horrible. I have called several times due to my mailbox being left open EVERY day. I could understand if something were wrong with the box, but when I shut it, it STAYS shut. My husband found his cell phone bill in the neighbors yard and our mail is always wet! My sons birth certificate was ruined that we received in our left open mailbox!! Nothing has been done about this. Also, when delivering a package to my door, the lady was yelling at someone on her cell phone and threw my package on the ground an walked off. HORRIBLE!

Horrific delivery ability in Jeffersonville. Don't bother asking for mail holdings and a later continuance of delivery, because it will only confuse the feeble-minded postal process.Keep in mind this is a company that once held a monopoly on US postal and package delivery for several decades, but has somehow lost the ability to remain profitable while multiple competing companies (DHS, UPS, FedEx, etc.) have all figured out how to be better and more efficient within less time and without a subsidy. Thank you, almighty municipality.
