This is my third attempt to complain about our mail carrier. I’ve stressed this before that the mail carrier is flattening my lawn as he takes the same path daily. I take care of my yard and would really like it if he could take a different path, rather than the same one over and over leaving marks in my yard. Due to him walking in the grass when it has dew on it and makes it look terrible. I have my yard treated as well and they will put a sign in the yard to stay off the grass but he refuses too. I know they are told to take the shortest route, but him walking through my yard does not take any time off him walking elsewhere. It’s literally a 2 second difference. He doesn’t walk in everyone’s yards so I would like him to respect out yard as well. Also, several times I have been outside with my 12 year old as the carrier is delivering mail while on his ear buds on the phone screaming and cursing out loud for everyone to hear including children. We are not real happy with that either. He even walks through our yard when we don’t have mail and will look at our camera and smile. I don’t find that professional at all. Can something please be done? My neighbor had a similar issue and he now avoids their grass as she had to complain.
