They don't know how to forward mail. Get it wrong every time

every time I go in there I get hassled by the same federal employee! I'm sick of it. Fire this guy. I would. I don't do anything correct, he says ""your box isn't folded correctly. Your name isn't written correctly He needs to just shut up"" WHAT IS THIS GUY, THE PACKAGE POLICE? The problem is the other USPS I can go to runs in "slow shoe shuffle" mode and has ONE person actually handling TAX PAYERS! Privatize and send these people to McDonalds where they belong.

On June 15th, I pulled up to the drop mail box at curbside to mail my quarterly tax return. What a mess trying to mail my envelope. You have to open your door, of course hitting the box and attempting to drop the envelope in the narrow slit opening. If you have 10foot arms, no problem. But, in my case, 85 years old with a cane, I have to get out of the car and make my way to the box after the envelope fell to the street. What gives here? The previous large box was super. Who picked this joke of a mail box. My bet is that you have zero customer (tax payer) satisfaction with this mail box. Replace this box NOW!!!!!.

I have driven by the outdoor mailbox many times recently when mail that people have deposited, has been actually FALLING OUT OF THE BOX ONTO THE GROUND. Numerous attempts to call the post office and alert them to this, results in the phone ringing for 5 minutes and no one ever answering.

My delivery person has been getting away with shoddy service for too long. She consistently delivers mail to the wrong address and has been stuffing packages into the MAIL box to the point where the package has to be ripped apart to be removed. From today forward we will be taking photos and complaining about the service (or lack of) that we receive. My has a level of distrust to the point where she takes outgoing mail to the post office

The customer service at this Post Office is routinely bad. This afternoon it was worse than normal. Two people at the counter, one near incompetent and the other refusing to serve customers unless they were picking something up. The line was out the door. Who is in charge?

Dropped off a change of address form IN the post office lobby and 10 days later still no forwarded mail has ever arrived. Mayport USPS lost it inside their own facility I guess

I have tried to contact the Atlantic Beach Post Office at their local number xxx-2026 and it just keeps ringing and ringing. Seems like none of the employees want to answer the phone. Guess they are too busy to help customers that cant get to the facility in person. Very poor customer service even for a question on shipping.

Commendation for my letter carrier, Mike Lowan. Mike is a dedicated civil servant and does our Atlantic Beach Post Office proud. He's such an asset to his route. He's always pleasant and I feel well cared for by his dependable and excellent service. My neighbors feel the same way. Every good wish to Mike who is so important to our communication network.

I’ve been expecting to receive a package since the end of August. Apparently the package disappeared in August. It magically appeared at the Jacksonville distribution center where it has set since November 6. I went to my local post office to try to find out what was going on with it. The guy working at the post office on Mayport Road was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Can anyone tell me where my package it and when I’m going to receive it?

I have been trying to reach someone at this location for over 3 hours and the phone just rings with no answer! I have been trying to track a package that was shipped to the wrong post office and has been missing since 11/04/2020! No one answers the phone and the few times someone did no answers regarding my missing package were provided. I just want to know what the USPS did with my package! Was it lost or stolen???? I truly wish someone would pick up the phone!

I wanted to say thank you to the office for promptly taking care of an issue. There was a delivery issue and I completed a help form. Within one day the post office emailed me, called me to let me know it would be delivered, and then had it delivered. I was impressed with the prompt attention to and resolution of the problem.

I have ordered probably a total of eight to 10 purchases on Amazon and they all said drlivered and I have not seen one single package. So I hope that they are dropping them off at my local post office. It is very very disappointing because I've heard so many great things about Amazon and the first few try times that try it out I'm pretty much screwed so you probably won't have me as a customer a any more sadly because ive loved shopping there.

Terrible delivery service. I have found mail left on the ground, and once or twice a week we get no mail. Also, a lot of missing packages that disappear and are never recovered, even with tracking.

Just like everybody else has stated, they do not answer the phone, the reason is that they turn it OFF. They cannot be bothered with customers after all they are Government workers. Can't wait for Amazon to complete setting up their delivery system. That should be the final nail in their coffin (USPS)

This has to be the WORST US Post Office ever! Before moving from Atl Beach, we put in a change of address notice but, we've never received any forwarded mail, and we've been gone since March 31, 2017. The phone just rings with no one answering even as its been ringing for over 10 minutes. I'm DISGUSTED!!

Spent 15 minutes listening to the phone ring. Mid-morning. No one will pick up. My car was stolen and my mailbox key was in it. I need to know what I have to do to get my mail (and a new key). It took less aggravation to deal with my car insurance company and the police regarding this matter. Why can't someone answer the phone?

I sent my 18 yr old a package (shoes) and it was undeliverable because she didnt give me the apt#. I corrected it and the website said they would redeliver it. Never happened. 3 days later, she WALKED to the p.o. to pick it up. they told her they were too busy to look for it. Walk back again later. I tried to call and raise cain, but no one EVER answered the phone. i let it ring for 15 minutes SOLID and they picked up the phone & hung up. I had to call back..this is the 5th time now. Its a vendetta now. I have NEVER experienced worse service ANYWHERE. And I travel a LOT.

our entire apartment complex on mayport road has recvd no mail for over a week now. I'm currently on the phone with the post office now just to find out what's going on and if I need to pick it up myself, and its been ringing for 35 minutes. you mean to tell me in 35 minutes, no one can bother to even step to the side to answer a simple phone call? What amazes me even more is that someone is not assigned to answer the phone. It is more likely that several years ago someone unplugged said phone and never plugged it back in. Oh! look at that. call just disconnected with no answer. fabulous. I need someone to contact me ASAP with an answer about where our mail is.

Horrible post office. They never answer the phone if you are trying to contact them. Took them over 2 months to change the lock on a parcel box for my mailbox. They said they would call when it was changed and they did not. Had to continue to waste an hour every Saturday doing there job to get my mail. Now that the lock has been changed they are still not delivering my mail to the box.

My daughter, a Navty Pulot who moved to JAX in May has had the worst mail service we have ever experienced with this mail delivery. She lives at Babylon Bay apartments on San Pablo Rd S. She did not get any of the birthday cards sent to her in August, 2 of which had checks enclosed. All but one card made it back to the sender but took almost a month. The address was checked and it is correct. A neighbor got her ballot in his mail and fortunately returned it to her. My husband sent her a note and it was returned with the sticker saying," return to sender. Unclaimed unable to forward". The front office is responsible for checking in packages and she has received all of those. The post office on Mayport is responsible for sorting mail into each resident's box. How can we correct this problem? I hate to try and figure out a different place for her mail to be delivered, but I may need to. I have tried the last few days to call this post office. After the initial recording, i am transferred then the phone rings and rings, finally stopping after 4 minutes. I urge you to contact me so we can find a solution to this huge problem. She may end up missing even more important mail than an election ballot!!!

Lived in my home for 30 years and for past 3 days no mail. Now there's a sign due to safety issues we have to go to the post office to get our mail. Guess I won't be able to get my mail since I work every day their open!
