I moved to a new apartment in Fairfield, The Lawler apartments. I do not have the key of my mailbox because the postal office does not want to give it to the apartment complex manager. I have to lift a complaint to obtain it. How do I lift a complaint? Ho do I get my mail.?

I haven’t been receiving mail or pick up here in Cordelia, also not seen a postal truck. Medications are received by mail and if there is an issue we should be notified.

Still occurring in Cordelia, and I'd like to say, "Yes, you are so right," to Judith Hutzler. I have a prescribed, and rather uncommon heart medication, that my insurance will cover only shipped directly from the manufacturer, as it is even more ridiculously expensive to have it specially ordered in a regular pharmacy. Unfortunately it is sent through USPS. As of today I have been three days without receiving my medication. We have postal tracking, Informed Delivery (which term possibly qualifies as an oxymoron, or can be included in the list of agency titles described as "two lies in one") and have seen expected delivery dates come and go through stagnation, misdirection, misidentification and practically everything else that could go wrong. More often, however, the item scans and posted information on the tracking websites simply stop and you are left with no idea of what has happened to your mail. As has been reported over and over in these comments, we have tried repeatedly to contact the Postal Service for information. The "1-800" number has no more information than is already available online and will offer you the option of starting a trace on your missing item. This will take weeks and in so many cases will be entirely useless, even if a result is achieved, which, ofcourse, often does not happen. If they do manage to find your lost mail or package, by that time the event date has passed, the bill is late and the fees are owed, the job offer went without a response... fill in your own sad consequence. If you still have a posted local number, and many locations apparently don't anymore, there is a very good likelihood that the phone simply isn't answered. That has been my experience and in reading reports on this and other websites, I am far from an exception. This is such a deplorable situation for an institution that used to be the best in the world. I know that there are so many hardworking and dedicated individuals in the Postal Service who are doing their level best and finding the faults even harder to deal with every day than those on the receiving end of the delivery process. I am not directing this annoyance, frustration and sometimes outright anger at them. I would like, actually, to know where it should be directed. What is going on !?

I just realized I haven't received mail in about 2 weeks. I checked with my neighbor and she has been receiving hers. I received a text last night from Best Buy (a new card) saying someone tried to use the card. It's mighty strange, I saw a new mailman and now there is fraudulent activity going on and there isn't anyone to speak to at the P.O. That just doesn't make any sense. The mailboxes have not been tampered with either. I will definitely get to the bottom of this. No advertisement mail, no junk mail. NOTHING in my mailbox at all. I live on Pennsylvania Ave in Fairfield.

We have not received any mail since Wednesday, 30 Jun 2021. Our mail was on hold from May 28 through Jun 28, 2021, and delivered on Jun 30 only after I spoke with the delivery man. On Jun 30, the mail we received was not for us but belong to our next door neighbor. I noticed also that we have a new mailman, with the previous mail man we did not experience any of this.

Called this post office 24 times, without anyone answering, during business hours. Maybe answering the phone isn't part of the job description...? Need to redo my passport photo, according to the Stte Department. Frisfield staff took the photo & I paid for it, but I guess answering the phone and taking an acceptable photo) are too much to ask..

They never pick the schedule pickup package and instead send a false notification that the parcel has been successfully picked up. THEY also never answer phone calls.

No mail in last 3 days. Same for neighbors of Channing Court, FF. Mail Person drops/loses mail. Delivery is not until late in the evening during hours of darkness. Bank Statements lost or missing. This has been going on for years. Numerous complaints have been submitted to the PM Fairfield with no action taken. Customers cannot make contact with anyone at the PO using (707) 425-2789 or 1-800-275-8777. If ur lucky enough to get through on (707) 425-2789 ur told to hold and the person never replies. It appears my EM will join the long list of complaints (20+) listed against the FF/PO. I urge all disgruntled customers to contact the Oakland Main PO or Postal Inspection Service.

Post Master, In a week your phone never answered and I got no response to my request on "registered letter RH605696496PT".(below) Tracking in Portugal says for you to expect the letter today or within the next six days. PVE appears to be obstructing the adressee’s mail to the extent of about 80% at least for the last 8 months. Post Master, all I ask is, could you please ask your carrier to wait for a signature from Hank Hough himself, and not to simply trust the document to the PVE staff as always. I will investigate apparent mail fraud later with the proper channels, but for this corresspondance I would like to see if if is possible to have our Constitutional rights in retirement. You could send a reminder to PVE staff about fraud and the Federal consequences. If you get the signiture, please tell me. Thank you so much. x Worsley .

I got a notification that a package has been delivered. I went outside to look for a package, I could not find it. I went to check the mailbox, I saw a post office van leaving The mailbox. I checked opened the mailbox, no package. This is very strange. The incident happen at around 9:30 pm on Monday, July 21. I am resident of Castlerock, Palmer Circle, Fairfield.

I paid to get a letter sent via certified mail and it was very important that I get a confirmation that it was received, but it still says in transit a month later. I know for a fact the person received the letter because they told me, however, I needed confirmation by USPS for a legal matter. I called the customer service number and was given a service request number and the representative said someone from the Fairfield office would give me a call back. I was out of the office when they called and left me a voicemail saying they did not understand my inquiry. I have tried calling the return number for the Fairfield office and I have been attempting to call for about 30 minutes and it rings, then takes me to a busy signal.

I work at an office complex in Fairfield, CA. We are lucky if we get mailed delivered 4 times a week. This week, since it is Christmas week, we have received NONE. No mail delivered Monday, Tuesday was a holiday, none on Wednesday. Let's see what Thursday holds. Our tax dollars apparently not working.

This is not a review, but a question re: the USPS policy/procedure re: government mail. Does USPS forward government mail such as jury summonses or Court notices?

Just spent ringing Fairfield USPS to report poor service on delivery, only to get timed out, because no one would answer. Missed mail delivery at least twice this last week and only got our neighbor's mail today. Sometimes our mail arrives in the dark before six. Years ago ,we were told by a supervisor, that no routes run that late.
